"Check in was easy and swift. Got to our room and it had a faint smell of cigarettes. The bathroom counters were covered in cigarette burns, the ceiling had yellow stains. Our ice bucket had mold in it so had to go to desk for a new one. There was dirt and dust everywhere and hair in the shower. The "breakfast " was beyond basic(pop tarts, plain bagels and dry cereal). "This hotel itself is substandard. The overall condition of the building is just sad. She is a tired old building that should be totally refurbished. On top of that, the "breakfast" was prepackaged muffins, ugly fruit... instant scrambled eggs. The counters in the breakfast area were disgusting and sticky. The person who checked us in was outstanding. She was friendly, cheerful, helpful, and kind. A wonderful ambassador for the hotel. "

"The property was very clean. I don’t know how long this hotel has been open because it looked somewhat new. The staff is very nice and helpful and no noise to complain about during my stay. It’s close to the mall and other businesses in the area. The only issue I had while staying here was that the shower in my room only had hot water. There was no way to get the water to a decent enough temperature. I couldn’t take a proper shower because the water was so hot. Other than that I would stay here...

"We were flying LAX to Chicago connecting to PEO. The LAX flight to Chicago was delayed causing us to miss out PIA flight and had to fly to peoria the next day. While getting my flight information straightened out Expedia and myself both contact Motel 6 informing them I would not be able to make it in time to check in and was told by staff at the Motel 6 it didn't matter, there was no refund."

"I read some prior reviews & I was a little hesitant by them but I’m extremely happy that i chose to stay here. Room looks just like the picture, bed was comfortable, had a little loveseat to sit at teat. Refrigerator with a freezer and a microwave. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I don’t drink forf but it appeared to be enough for 5-6 pots. Had filled shampoo, conditioner and also lotion dispensers.
