Staff, in particular Umberto very helpful not just with food and wine (using Coravin to provide a wide selection by the glass), but also any other questions we had including hiking suggestions, which were spot on for us. "Loved the spa facilities!!!! Breakfast was outstanding with homemade pasties and yogurt each morning. Staff went above and beyond for us. Do not like the blow dryer connected inside the drawer and would like a mirror for getting ready in the main bed area so the other person can be in the bathroom while I’m also getting ready. "

"This was our second time at the Legació and it won't be the last. The place is beautiful, well located for hikes and biking, visiting lakes, and just having fun in the Dolomites. Service is outstanding and the staff very friendly. I want to thank and recognize Sabine at the front desk and Ericka at breakfast for their great service."

"Excellent little hotel with eccentric artistic elements in the property. Matilda, at check in, was enormously helpful with arrangements at Rifugio Auronzo, and suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try, making reservations for us. Lots of construction in Cortina due to the upcoming Olympics, so expect construction cranes everywhere!"

"The Rosapetra Spa was very lovely and had the most amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The staff was nice on arrival. The room was beautiful but lacked the 5 star luxury I was hoping for. The Spa was quite beautiful and had various saunas but the most beautiful sauna was off limits and we were scolded by the spa staff when we used it but not one staff member said it was closed. It was annoying but I have to say the spolier was the American couple who made a scene in the spa was they saw...

"Hotel um pouco longe do centro (estando de carro sem problemas). Como na maioria dos hotéis da Itália, os funcionários não fornecem informações turísticas detalhadas, mas lá são educados. Café da manhã muito bom com vista das montanhas, vista do hotel bonita. Quarto bem espaçoso, cama e travesseiros confortáveis e banheiro também. Estacionamento na rua em frente ao hotel não supervisionado mas bem tranquilo. "

"My stay at Sportony Mountain Lodges was fantastic. The entire staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were great with several options. It is on the main street so a bit noisy but the majority of lodges in that area would be no different. There are regular busses but I never used them so can’t review the Transportation side of things. I would absolutely go back if I do a vacation in the Dolomites. They have good bike storage there and a fantastic sauna!"

"Very cozy, almost bed and breakfast vibes. The views were amazing, and the staff were all very accommodating. Our room wasn’t made up in time when we were checking in so they gave us a free drink and quickly made it up for us. It is about 15 min from downtown cortina, a bit of a windy road getting up and down but quite beautiful. Overall a great two night stay"

"Upon arrival, we were able to pay 15 EU to park right behind the hotel in downtown Cortina. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!"

"Full service hotel in a perfect location woth convenient access to skiing and walking distance to the town of Cortina. City Bus picks up and drops off in front of the hotel.
