"We had a great time at the farmhouse. Host was super communicative and easy to work with. As described, it’s an older home with some quirks that we found fun. I will warn that taller travelers will have to watch their head in the entry/kitchen area. Home is in an out of the way area that would be great in the spring/sunner. We stayed in early spring before the weather warmed up, even having snow one day. Despite the location, it is not bad getting to various areas. JFK was about 2 1/2 hrs away...

"We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. "

"Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The kids had so much space and games to play. The outdoor was just beautifully set up to enjoy around the fire and play and walk outside. Highly recommend this place."

"Can’t emphasize how nice the surrounding area and property itself are. Very relaxing while still being close to several small towns with great restaurants. Communication was excellent, overall a great experience! "

"Beautiful house with a lovely kitchen and beautiful bedrooms. The decks were nice, though adding more comfortable seating would make them even better."

"Great experience- there was an app issue so when we arrived the trailer we booked was not available so the owner upgraded us to the private pool house at no charge. Great customer service and recommend the pool house!"

"We had an amazing stay here!!! We came up for a family wedding, stayed with 5 adults and 4 kids and we all fit very comfortably. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean and renovated nicely. The living room is my favorite with the huge windows that face out into the woods. Each room is very comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms are equipped with everything you need. I communicated with the host before my stay and they responded quickly and kindly. Would highly recommend this place!...

"8 guys - set up a golf weekend in the surrounding area and couldn't have asked for a better spot! The house was perfect - Enough room for everyone to have there own room - ( we didn't even make it to the basement ) The grounds/house location was ideal for us to relax and unwind - We cooked in house twice and went out once. We are already planning our trip for next year. "

"The house was as advertised and was perfect for our 2 night stay. It was clean and the neighborhood was great to walk our dogs. While we did not take advantage of things to do in the area because we were there for a family event, there are many things to do. We did enjoy bagels from Bagel Bakery in Monticello. "
