Creole-style Cottage near Fish River

Take a break and unwind in this rural creole cottage near Fish River–actually just across the road. Put your kayak or boat in at the Honey Road public boat ramp only 3 minutes away. A central location for business and pleasure: beautiful downtown Fairhope, Grand Hotel at Point Clear, the beautiful white sands of Gulf Shores, and Tanger Outlet in Foley all within a 30-minute or less drive. The cottage is located on quiet dead end street. Attached covered carport for one car.
We often stay here and have created an inviting cottage featuring pine floors and ceiling fans throughout - including front porch. Master bedroom en suite bath has a vanity and vessel sinks, and a jetted garden tub with shower. Queen bed in master and full in other bedroom. Walk-in closets in both bedrooms. Note: there is only one TV which is located in the living area. Appliances include gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, Ninja 10 cup coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator and washer and dryer.

The home was so serene and peaceful it was like being transported away, like the old commercial calgon take me away. The high ceilings made the home seem much larger than it actually was. The front porch was great, the swing became a nightly ritual. We liked it so much our ten year old took the bird door stop home with us, which we are now mailing back. Five Stars amazing property would love to stay again if you'll have us. Little sticky fingers will be on his very best.behavior. Ron

The Cottage is everything we could have asked for in a rental. It gives the best warm and cozy at home vibes. Its so nice not to be in the hustle and bustle of town, but yet close enough to do everything. We will absolutely be booking again!

This cottage is exactly as advertised- and more. Lovely linens also made our stay like home away from home! Stocked kitchen made creating meals easy. One of the absolute BEST places we’ve ever stayed!

This place was perfect. Great location to drive to surrounding areas and visit. Not far to Mobile or the Gulf Shores. Also the best shower ever. Water pressure was awesome.

A wonderful site in a wonderful location

We’ve stayed in a number of VRBO “excellent” residences and we always look for places out in the woods and close to small towns. This site met all our expectations. Great for a couple in their 70s! Great restaurants within ten miles.

Get-away from New Orleans weekend

This place was impeccably clean. Check-in was easy. It’s about 18 minutes from Fairhope Ave in a very quiet area. Kitchen is very well equipped and the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms allow for privacy. It was completely comfortable and we would stay again.

Charming Cottage

This cottage is quiet, and peaceful with many trees, flowers and birds outside. Inside is nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Great shower with plenty of hot water. Fully stocked kitchen. You feel as if you are home. Can't wait to return!

Alabama Getaway

We loved everything about the property!!! It was immaculate. Everything was as described and the front porch was amazing and perfect for hanging out when it rained in the morning. The only knocks I could come up with is I wish there was a grill to cook out on, I wish there would have been a tv in the bedrooms for when we wanted to chill in bed in the morning and I wish there would have been more toilet paper provided. 4 rolls for 4 ppl for 5 days ran out fast and we had to go get our own. Other then those minor things the house was perfect and close to several beaches, restaurants, and fun things to do!!! 5****** stars all day.

Convenient location to nearby towns.
