"We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! "

"Brilliant, I did leave a review on Google maps also. But I really enjoyed this stay. Me (m19) and my partner (F18) decided to go on a whim and book somewhere nice on Saturday night. It was a nice idea as we got out of her parents house. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean with a nice bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedroom. We cooked ourselves a meal and had a nice bath before heading out. It's literally on the doorstep of town so everything you need is within walking...

"I absolutely loved my stay at Strozzi Palace and will definitely stay again. Minor things which could’ve addressed were that the balcony area and chair cushions need some attention but it didn’t affect our stay. The room was lovely and the staff were great. I’d highly recommend. "

"Lovely pub. Bear in mind that it opens until half 1 most nights with music playing. Room was lovely and had everything we needed. Owner was great and really hellful"

"A well equipped apartment, with very good, accurate information provided about the accommodation. Really appreciated the breakfast snacks and milk and juice provided. Easy access (walkable) to Stroud town centre. Quiet at night, but - I assume because some other guests were working locally - it was a bit noisy in the mornings with someone banging for quite a while on another apartment’s door before 7am and noise around the bin area even earlier. That said, overall, a good apartment and stay. "

"Great loaction, good ammenities. Not as clean as it should be and you could see layers of dust on top of the cupboards. Bed was on the soft side but comfortable. "

"This was an amazing place to stay. If you are looking for an authentic "room above a country pub" experience. This is the place. It does have old pub quirks, the floors arent very level, and the access upstairs is challenging. But the charm of the beams and windows is undeniable. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and if you're into art, this places hums with it. We loved our time here. And its location means its easy to explore Gloustershire and South Wales. "

"Think this was the cutest place ive ever stayed, very quaint and well planned for such a small space. My daughter lives in Tetbury so the location was perfect plus its a stones throw from the town centre. Bed was comfortably and everything you need was provided. Be aware of the staircase as its very steep and would say could be slippy with socks on as wooden but wasnt a problem unless perhaps you have mobility issues. There is no tv if that bothers you but i didnt miss it."

"Wanted somewhere with a feeling of space to get the extended family all together for a Christmas break. House was perfect, spacious and everything we needed. Great TV room btw!!!"

"10/10. What a fantastic place inside and out. Absolutely spotless, comfortable, you couldn't ask for better hosts. Friendly neighbours and a great ice-cream guy at the end of the street. Watch for many tourists taking photos, you are a historical cottage after all. Thanks for everything Bette and Dawn."

"The property is well maintained and equipped with everything you need, very comfortable and quiet, own parking so very easy to come and go, easy access to many attractions, lovely host and a beautiful cake on arrival, would definitely recommend and would stay again "
