Large Penthouse With King Canopy Bed

  • Este espacioso apartamento de 800 pies cuadrados cuenta con una enorme cama king con dosel, una gran bañera de dos personas con jacuzzi y chimenea. El baño tiene dos puertas para permitir que ambas habitaciones accedan al baño sin molestar a la otra habitación. La sala de estar es espaciosa y tiene una cama nido / día para asientos adicionales, y una cama queen murphy que se almacena en una unidad de pared para facilitar el acceso. El mismo espacio abierto se usa para la cocina y el comedor, con un techo de catedral.

    Situado en un acre y medio de una cama y desayuno propiedad donde se puede ver las luces del norte en el invierno, y hermosas puestas de sol y amaneceres en el verano. El ático también tiene dos puertas; una entrada principal a la sala de estar y una puerta de atrás del dormitorio principal que también tiene una terraza.

    La cocina está totalmente equipada con un refrigerador de tamaño completo, cuatro hornallas / horno, microondas, cafetera Keurig, cafetera, tostadora, así como cubiertos, platos, ollas y sartenes para cocinar.

    Bonitos senderos para caminar rodean este vecindario. Por temporadas, hay senderos de esquí de fondo justo arriba de la colina en la Universidad de Alaska Fairbanks ,. En el verano tenemos canoas y kayaks para pedir prestado para flotar el río Chena que está justo al otro lado de la calle.

If interior space had a rating, it would be a 10! It seemed like we were staying in a furnished apartment. The hostess is super nice! The checkin process was somewhat of a puzzle. And the permanent male tennants sometimes hung around outside. The dirt parking lot and scattered buildings with different hotel names seemed a little weird.

Spacious and clean. I was only there to sleep so I didn’t use the facilities much but it had everything you needed.

I reserved the large penthouse with King Canopy bed for 2 nights. When I arrived I was informed that the room had been rented to a "regular" and I was offered a room that was half the size, in the basement, and did not have the large king bed nor the large jetted tub. There was no offer of a reduced rate more of a take it or leave it.

Nice place for the price

Great penthouse for the price, only problem was the person in the next room called and complained about us being loud at 6am because they didn't get in until 1am. This is a hotel not home get over yourself. The management was nice except for that issue. We weren't even loud that's the funny thing we were making breakfast. The kitchen sink was leaking pretty bad and the cable in the bedroom didn't work. The knives were I don't know what they did to them but they are garbage the blade was completely bent

Quirky, but nice

Good place to stay for the price. The TV in main room wasn't connected to cable box and did not end up being an easy fix. Other than that, no complaints. The room served its purpose as a home base while out and about. The grounds are nice and we were able to walk down to the river. Good location, and close to UAF.

Not very clean or provisioned

We had to buy paper plates, bowls and utensils because there weren’t enough for five. We found a lobster claw on the floor by the front door, the floors were dirty, the main TV cable didn’t work, and the tub was clogged. Luckily, we weren’t there very much and didn’t need to cook as much as we usually do.

One of the more interesting places we’ve stayed...

This was definitely one of the more interesting or “quirky” places we’ve stayed and we have traveled quite extensively. We were grateful the property accepted our 2 dogs. There were plugins for the car. (We were there in the winter) The property is definitely not fancy but it was fine for a couple of nights. Bedding could be updated as it felt/looked very old and used, there was a hole in the comforter on our bed. Pillows were very flat. Kitchen had enough utensils and dishes to make basic meals (we appreciated that!) Again, it was fine for a couple of nights.

Adequate, friendly and convenient

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The manager was very friendly, available and helpful, and the location was convenient to the things we chose to do during our stay. The only downside is the kitchen is very sparse, so beware if you plan to cook. You will need your imagination to put things together, but it can be done, and the manager did provide help when we sought it out.

College drop off

Everything was wonderful. The cooking utensils were piecemeal and I found myself buying a new fry pan which I left in the room. The living room Tv was off line. Those were the only detractors, everything else was great, it was quiet, comfortable, housekeeping came by every day, and the management was helpful and friendly. Overall, a great stay and I will book here again! Location was perfect!

Wonderful spot to stay in town!

We really enjoyed our time here with everything we needed. Leicha was very knowledgeable about the area and wonderful to talk to, very accommodating as well. Would stay again if we make it back up there in the future.
