Parc de l'Exposició

We booked 2 AC Rooms back in March for 2 days. When we arrived, the staff looked surprised we are there until we showed the reservation and the receipt. They gave us 2 rooms then but they were both old and with problems. I believe they have a few renovated rooms that are shown in the pictures online but most of the rooms are old, smelly and moldy. The AC in our room did not work and they could not give us another room until the next day because they said they are full. Temp inside was 30C that night and we were traveling with a 88 year old mom. We did not even have glasses in that room. They switched us in a new room next day and we found ourselves in a different, much cleaner and better environment. The staff were nice and willing to help but the place is really not good. The only thing it has going for it is the location in the middle of the city. Will I book Astoria again? No, never. Sorry

Aspects à améliorer pour un 5 étoiles : -Absence de serviette ni de fontaine à eau au studio Gym -Spa mal agencé, trop serré, aucun véritable lieu de repos et d'apaisement.. -Personnel au Spa très peu aimable et disponible

I usually stay at this hotel when I travel to Iasi. This time was a big disappointment.. First of all, the hotel was doing renovations and it did not informed the travel agency neither was posted on their side. Being on a 7h time difference, it was extremely difficult to rest given the excessive reno noise. First room I was allocated, smelled terrible from the bathroom floor sewage. I was given another room. The room I was told, was newly renovated but leaving aside the choice of carpet and amenities, lack of proper bathroom supplies , the AC did not work so the room was very hot. I was too tired to change the room so I stayed... Very disappointing for a 4* hotel with such potential.
