"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"We had a lovely peaceful stay for our wedding anniversary and fishing so a great central location.. I second other guests that The Crown in Lea is a lovely place to enjoy food too.. we also had a takeaway from the Chinese in Ross which was generous and tasty…The accommodation is very pleasant and clean .. it suited us and was very comfortable..we would definitely book again"

"We loved staying at Y Stablau! The house had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The children loved having so much outside space to explore. One day, we walked to White Castle but otherwise we needed to do a short drive each day to explore Abergavenny and the local area. "

"Booked a couple of nights for my partners birthday, pure relaxation was needed and it was the perfect location. Was allowed to hire a hot tub, which was amazing to have with the fantastic views. Relaxing while sun was setting . Host was fabulous, helped me with all things I needed while away. Will definitely be returning! "

"We and our Red Setter had really three wonderful weeks in The Apple Store. Thanks for that. Everything you need is in place and we enjoyed walking in The Doward and down to the Wye river. We only can highly recommend The Apple Store. There are some many aweful place around to visit and most impressive the west coast of Wales, the Black Mountains and for sure Bristol ... "

"Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!"

"We absolutely loved Holly Cottage! It was clean and had everything we needed. The views were lovely! And we enjoyed our next door neighbors- chickens, sheep and cows (we are veterinarians- but if you are not an animal lover, you will still love it here!). Jonathan was an excellent communicator!
