Love the place. Especially, the farm animals who greeted us every day.A couple of challenges with the TV and Dishwasher. But other than that it was great.

The place was great! Very clean, more than enough amenities, and right in the middle of the ferns and Redwoods. Also, this was our first trip after getting a new dog and he was able to tag along : )

Beautiful area, close to the redwoods, coast, and smith river.Cabin was cosy and clean, would highly recommend.

Amazing location with Redwoods right next to the cabin! Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the forest. Note: there is no WiFi and very spotty cell reception, so plan accordingly. Also the road noise from the highway was pretty steady until about 7:00pm, when the parks closed.

Room was very small for animals to stay on ground. Managed the space well and it did the job for just one night. It was clean and quiet

Amazing cabin surrounded by redwoods in a private setting ! The property is super close to many trails and hikes in the local state parks to see the big trees. Would recommend to anyone

The cabin was clean and nice for two. not four travelers. I was disapointed when we got there as I had read this on the listing: "Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park 1 min walk. Smith River 18 min walk." This was very misleading as there were no directions for the walk to Smith River or Jedediah Smith State Park. Googling how to get to these places they were both close by car but not walking.

Cabin in the Redwoods

This was our favorite stay of a 12 day trip! We originally booked it for our last 2 nights but then realized we'd be 3 hours south in the redwoods so James graciously refunded our second night stay. We all were enchanted by this beautiful property and darling cabin.

Being surrounded by the redwoods was wonderful. The property itself was very basic. No TV, no internet, no cell service. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sofa had lost it's springs. It was very private, quiet and the cabins are spaced far enough apart.

Redwoods Retreat

This was the perfect little cabin for our Spring break Redwoods trip! We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the peaceful setting and convenient location. It’s just outside of Crescent City with easy access to the surrounding attractions. We highly recommend this property if you’re looking for more of an immersive adventure than a hotel,and more creature comforts than camping!
