"Very cute older home that has been updated nicely. Was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We were very glad it had central A/C, as the weekend we stayed it was very hot! Check in and communication with owners was very easy. Would definitely stay there again!"

"There was a bit of a hiccup with our booking but thanks to the quick thinking and great communication from our host everything worked out just great. We enjoyed using the hot tub while being guarded by one of the super friendly cats on the property. There’s a few friendly cats, some chatty yet indifferent goats, some chickens and a big ole dog that is definitely a friendly friend. It’s very serene out there and it’s very easy to just relax the night away. "

"Although this location is right on Orangeburg Ave, we enjoyed our stay. It was close to McHenry where you had access to lots of restaurants. The duplex was clean and spacious especially the master bedroom. We felt safe and would stay here again."

"We enjoyed our time here. Great backyard! As noted that a room is locked, u can't get to the pool from the room that is closed off, which would be so nice to not have to go to the backyd, from the front door, but the river is right there and u can hear it, which is even better. We had to drive to fish, because of grandkids are a lil young to hike that route but it was overall great! "

"We stayed here for 4th of July weekend and the house more than met our expectations. Instructions were very clear, house was tidy and much larger than we anticipated. Would stay here again. "

"What a fantastic place! Beautiful open space with access to the river, wrap around deck and plenty of outdoor spots to sit with a coffee or cocktail! The house itself is beautifully decorated and spotless. Nice comfortable beds and so welcoming. We liked our stay so much that we never left the property! Dog friendly, our pup was living her best life there! Ample room to run and play catch, she also took a dip in the river! We will most definitely be back for a longer stay. The perfect place to...
