"This was an awesome property. I went with my spouse and adult children(17-22) and their friends. Total of 8 people. The house was very clean and open. The pool was exceptional. The sunsets on the beach were beautiful. The best part was the caretakers(Arturo and Maribel). Arturo was up early to get the pool and backyard set up for us to enjoy for the day. Maribel cooked us an awesome dinner our last night there. They were so nice and helpful the entire time we were there. They almost felt like...

"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"The property management is extraordinarily easy to work with. They have an extensive knowledge of the area. We have stayed multiple times and have never been disappointed. Scarlet Macaws and green parrots visit as well as numerous lizards and other birds. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Great place to relax and close to highways if you want to visit San Jose. Plenty of space, beautiful views way up in the hills, and a pool. The owners were very helpful and charming. Liked that the house had a local flavor and not generic like most hotels and many other rentals were. Nice restaurants in town. Was central to our day trips."

"We had a great time at this home. Carlos was an amazing host who went above and beyond with friendly communication and problem solving. This home has a "to die for view," and beautiful interior. Make sure you have a 4x4 and preferably off-road tires. If you don't have a 4x4 do not book this place. Overall amazing stay!"
