Beautiful Blue Ridge Hideaway

We came to the area for an annual family reunion. The farmhouse was AMAZING. We loved sitting on the front porch with coffee just watching the scenery and cars go by. Our fur-baby loves the house too!! We hope to stay again next year.

Beautiful Country Farmhouse

This farmhouse was absolutely amazing! It was clean and comfortable. The fireplaces made it so cozy. We will definitely be back. You don't need to leave once you get there but it is super convenient to town. Our dogs felt right at home and we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

Great place to stay blast from the past

A home that has the luxury of 2025 but the feel of the 1900’s.What a great place to stay you can look out the window in the morning and see God’s beauty from the cattle to the mountains.The home has the original floors original walls from the early 1900s what a place to stay you can imagine being there and knowing that someone churned butter in that home, they canned their own food in that home that Home represents love if you want a place to stay as a blast from the past stay in this place!!

Beautiful & highly recommend anyone wanting to explore the mountains and stay at a peaceful, luxurious home! The bath tub was a favorite amenity.

Visit back home

The farmhouse was perfect. I went back in time to my grandmother's. My sisters and brother live close and were able to visit on the front porch, have a family meal in the kitchen.and play Farkel. Could not have been any better. Will definately be back again. wleaving home y

We had a wedding not too far away and this was the perfect location for a few couples to use instead of the hotel that was both further away and more expensive. We would 100% stay again!

Nostalgic getaway

My husband has mobility and health issues that prevents him from traveling. I found this farm on VRBO 2hrs from our home on charlotte and a few miles from Galax where we lived in the 70's. It was a perfect few days for him to enjoy rocking on the big front porch, and "inspecting" the1600's farmhouse! Its a great place to stay and Sam a generous host!

2nd Stay

This was our second stay in the Farm House. The charm and character of the home are just wonderful. Nice modern appliances make food prep easy, and there is a nice gas grill if you want to cook out.

Awesome for Peace and Relaxation!

We loved, loved this property. The bathroom is off the charts - especially the claw foot tub!! We stayed 4 nights and highly recommend. We wanted to get away from the daily hubbub and relax, and this is definitely the spot for that. We plan on staying again :)

This place took me back to my great grandmothers house when I was a kid 50 yrs ago. If your used to or grew up around those types of homes you will love this place. The only thing I would warn about is that there is only 1 large bathroom, and while it is a good size including a claw foot tub, the door from the bathroom to the living room is a barn sliding door that does not close all the way for total privacy. It wasn't an issue for us but may be for some... The host is great, very responsive and we really had a great time there.

Wonderful Farmhouse

The home was just as advertized. It is a wonderful old farmhouse with all of the character you would expect. It reminded me of my grandparents home of which I have many fond memories. The modern appliances and convenience amenities were great, but the character of the house was the best part. My wfe and I had a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely stay again.
