"My sister and I had a great time staying in the cozy cabin. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch listening to the trees sway and the geese honking. We had our evening cocktails by the fire pit, looking at the stars and listening to the cicada or crickets. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. This place had everything that we needed to use as a base camp as we explored the thrift shops in Carbondale, the antique stores in Carterville, and hiking at Giant City State Park. "

"House was beautiful with a direct view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the wildlife and activities on the lake. House was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Hosts were quick to respond to questions i had and very pleasant to talk to. Very much enjoyed our stay and would stay there again."

"This cabin and property was everything and more than we expected. The cabin was very clean and cute and the property was private. The kitchen was very well set up and the bathroom/shower area was great. The front porch was very enjoyable and the back porch area was perfect. The screened in area with the hot tub was an excellent addition to the cabin.
