"I have been staying at The Venetian for years. Love their rooms, love their friendly staff, love a lot about this particular resort. This last visit was a bit of a miss for me. Though they gave us a great pool side room on a high floor, the noise and music from the pool below was so loud, it shook the entire room and there was no chance for napping, even though we arrived after an 8 hour trek to get to Vegas. "Front desk, from the moment we arrived... the lady was a power trip and so hospitable. She acts like those people that work at YMCA. She was truly an unhappy human being. She does not belong in a 5 star resort ambiance."

"The property itself was great as far as there was a pub, a coffee shop, several restaurants, live music, etc. We didn’t like the beds. They were hard, as were the pillows. Also requested microwave that was not in room when we got there. They said it would be there that night, but it wasn’t. Had to ask again. Also had put some food in the refrigerator, to notice the next morning that the refrigerator wasn’t cold and had to throw the food out. No explanation for this, but the water in the shower...

"The description of the hotel is somewhat misleading. It appears to be a timeshare facility. If you’re looking for a casino, shops and restaurants, we didn’t see them. Those are right next door at the Flamingo. Our included “breakfast” consisted of going to the small hotel store and getting a free cup of coffee, pastry and small bottle of juice from the refrigerator. Staff was very polite and friendly. Facility well maintained and clean."

The entrance from outside smelled like sewer bc the man hole, it literally is in front of the entrance area of main lobby. You get whiffs of sewer smell. Not pleasant on a hot day especially. Saw some coach roaches outside near parking garage entrance. The breakfast onsite was the best part. It was convenient and good enough for what we needed. We did not have time to go to the pool but it seemed very small and...

"The room was nice and clean. Check in was quick and easy. Plenty of light, especially in bathroom for make up. Big mirror for outfit checks. The bed was really comfortable. I didn’t gamble or drink there so no opinion on that but otherwise a great place to stay on the strip"
