"This was a great location for all we planned on seeing in this section of Pennsylvania. The home was very clean and neat; roomy and nice design; had everything you would need to prepare meals; quiet and peaceful backyard. We saw an Eagle, a Blue Heron and a Kingfisher at the creek. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely visit again if we are back in the PA Wilds."

"Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. "This property did not disappoint. The owners attention to detail is obvious. The property was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well supplied.The outside space was enjoyed by all of us especially the fire pit.We would see doe and buck emerging from the tree line, nightly. Today we saw a coyote and our sons saw bear scat near the fishing hole, today.Also, there is a grocery store nearby."

"We loved being at this cabin with all of its comforts and amenities. The hosts were very helpful and made sure our stay was special. It is in a wild and beautiful part of the state where exploring kept our interest for a week. We often came home early just to enjoy the patio with its firepit and hot tub. "The kitchen had everything we needed and was beautiful. The extra touch with coffee choices was awesome. The porch was nice being covered and would be beneficial when it rains. Both bathrooms were big and lots of counter space. Master bedroom was huge and beds were so comfortable. We could’ve stayed a week and the location was perfect."

"We stayed at this cabin so that we could go to Benezette to see the elk. It was about 20 minutes away from the Elk Visitor Center. Cabin was clean, very comfortable, and perfect for a few days away. Our host was wonderful. She was there to greet us when we arrived and answered any questions that we had. The cabin is stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. We needed to take our own bedding and towels."
