very comfortable bed; surprisingly quiet considering how noisy the bar downstairs was; we liked it!

Arrived at this beautiful hotel and greeted by Anna one of the brilliant members of staff and as we were early we enjoyed a drink and a lovely meal before being shown to our room. The whole place has a pleasant warming atmosphere and wonderful choice of drinks and superb food. Service is excellent and everyone is so happy. We came to Chepstow to visit the castle and stayed one night here. Never stopped raining for a minute so we decided to enjoy the food and drink on offer and were not disappointed. You could watch the football od sit at the bar, however we decided to sit in a cosy room where I had chilli and my good lady had jacket potato. Food here is excellent and we did go for a wonder through town. Chepstow has a lot of restaurants and pubs??? They were all great but we definitely hit the jackpot in the Beaufort hotel. The room was just what we wanted and the hotel is not new, it’s a wonderful place full of characters and charm. Don’t come with expectations just arrive and let the place envelop you and you will have a great time just as we have. Thank you to all the team especially Anna and see you all soon we will return

Everything worked out fine for our stay. WiFi was good and so was tv. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean with very efficient shower and lovely towels. Parking wasn’t a problem. 2 things that would be an improvement but in no way would stop me rebooking are if there was a bedside light and bigger teacups ie mugs.
