"This hotel is right across from union station. I attend the pink tie party annually which has been held at the union station for the last few years so this hotel was perfect as it is within walking distance. The hotel has a great atmosphere and staff were lovely. They have a in house pub which was great if you like to have a social life without going far. Just don’t serve the Guinness cold please! LOL As long as the pink tie party is at the union station, i will continue to book here. Highly...

"This is a gorgeous hotel converted from the famous Riggs National Bank of Washington DC. It is elegant, comfortable and accomodating. The food at Cafe Rigg (we had breakfast) was superb. The hotel is close to Metro (Gallery Place), museums and theatres as well aas several really nice restaurants. We will stay here whenever we come to downtown DC."

The hotel is within walking distance to the Capitol and to the train station. There are also some restaurants that you can take a nice walk to. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"Great choice for a short stay and if you're on a budget. My room was on the 2nd floor and facing H Street, so the only drawback was that the street noise was a bit loud. However, overall I really liked my room (it was so cute) and the location was great. Very walkable to eateries, museums, etc. I'd definitely stay there again!"

"Staff at check in were very friendly. The staff running the breakfast in the morning however, seemed very bothered to be there. Very unfriendly.. The pool was the main reason for booking this hotel, you could smell the chlorine, I’m assuming the levels were high as it was hard to breathe and my kids started coughing and were getting irritated skin after being in for a short period. There is a piece of paper in the pool room for chemical levels that never got filled out in the 5 days we stayed....

I never got my complimentary bottles of water when i checked in but the gentleman at the front desk made me whole. 2 of my towels were dirty in my room. Also why would you give me a hearing impaired room? I did not request it and i heard nothing but noise and construction where my room was…the walls were not that insulated from sound. Did not sleep well the second night, the lots of noise in morning. Also the internet eas extremely...
