"The Brownswood is lovely and I keep returning year after year. It feels like staying with family. Pub is a great time. Quick access on bus network or plenty of bikes around make commuting to central easy."

"I wanted to book a hotel close to the Tottenham Stadium to attend a concert. This place was close with several bus lines right outside the hotel and train station less than a block away. The staff was friendly and helpful, they even lent us a charger adapter. The hotel has security which adds to all the benefits of staying here. I would definitely book here again."

Table top fans are provided. - The room facing the street is super noisy at night because there are at least multiple commercial front-load dumpsters that are constantly worked on by garbage collection workers throughout the weeknights (it's non-stop for the whole nights). "Great location for the MOTH club which is where our event was. Room was warm and cosy. Bed was comfy and overall loved it. Such a nice welcome from the member of staff who was also working the bar. Simple, cosy place to stay. "

"Amazingly close to Finsbury park events but expensive stay for what it is. The hotel is clean, lovely staff, convenient but i could of taken my family to the Lakes for a week for the cost. Brekkie ok but lots of easy options ie tinned toms, orange squash and pre bowled tinned fruit. Staff lovely and ive had much worse but not a standout meal to start the day."

"Clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good location close to metro/bus stops (less than 10 min walk) and surrounded by many restaurants. Unfortunately the air conditioning was broken during our stay. Some rooms also don't come with windows. Overall a good experience."

"The hotel is modest, but beautifully updated and very clean. Our room had a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a very nice bathroom. The bedroom was small, but I’ve seen much smaller in Central London for double the price. Staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could do a bit more sightseeing before our flight."

"It's difficult to give a number. The hotel was updated, the bathroom was nice, the room was clean, but the hallway was narrow and the stairs were steep and there was no lift. Also no air conditioning. I suppose that's typical for London so I shouldn't complain. The neighborhood is colorful and walkable but it was tiring walking from the tube station on a hot day. We barely slept because of the heat but most of London probably had sleepless nights that night. Overall wished the hotel was nicer...

"This was exactly as advertised. All clean including sheets, towels etc. Two firm and two soft pillows. Basket with extra blankets. Had a decent fan as well. Host responded promptly and I had the access codes before arrival. Excellent location, right across from Finsbury Park making attending a gig really easy. I'll use again and would highly recommend. We were ground floor in one of the cheaper rooms as well, so all good."

"The listing description and how the place actually is don’t match up. The room I booked was to have a king size bed, hair dryer, shampoo and body wash. However when I arrived the bed was a full size. There was no hair dryer, or shower supplies. They provide one body towel per person but no hand towels or wash cloths. There were bugs in the room, a hole in the wall filled with a sponge. The room ran out of toilet paper and the owners were unable to provide anymore as they were not on property....
