"The apartment was generally clean and tidy, with the amenities as advertised. There were a few issues, which were addressed promptly and graciously by the owner - this was appreciated. We found the owner to be a genuine and accommodating person. Since we were there for 5 nights, the only thing we felt that was missing from this place were drawers for storage of our clothes. Otherwise a very quaint and quiet place to stay. "

"We loved this unique property. It was perfect for our group. We especially enjoyed the outdoor sitting area, the well equipped kitchen and the beautiful loft. The hosts were so gracious and kind. "When we arrived there was construction happening next door with loud equipment and blowing dust clouds. This left outdoor areas unusable and very dirty. The garbage bins out front smelled like rotting fish and were crawling with maggots. Beware of very steep downward driveway. "A lovely unit. Very comfortable amenities inside. Appliances worked well. Bathroom was clean and functional. The bed was divine. The skylight was a wonderful feature; however, a blind would be a good edition to block glare and intense sun. The exterior yard needed work, tidying shrubbery, etc. In general, I highly recommend this unit."

"This is a great property from a stay and enjoy the place option, to a jumping off point to see Nova Scotia.The house is very comfortable and the hosts go above and beyond to make your stay is all that you hoped for. The place is well stocked, including snacks, coffee and condiments. The beds are comfortable. and the setting is wonderful. Halifax is nearby. Highways to take you anywhere are only minutes away.I have had many VRBO experiences and I have never dealt with a better host."

"Over all a good place to stay. However the shower is not big enough and the shower head is in the wrong place. Difficult to have a proper shower. The place has very high humidity and the dehumidifier needs to be connected to a proper drain to run full time. "
