Relaxing Cabin on a Beautiful Mountain Stream

Artfully renovated and nestled on a 78-acre private farm in the mountains, this charming cabin is the perfect getaway to recharge your batteries and soothe your soul. Enjoy the sounds of nature and a flowing stream from the spacious back deck. For hiking and mountain-bike enthusiasts, mountain trails, beautiful ponds, creeks, and forests are right outside your door. Stay warm (or cool) in climate-controlled comfort. Cozy up in front of a quaint, wood burning stove in a den with a large screen cable TV and WiFi. This cabin also has a fully equipped kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, pots & pans, utensils, dinnerware and limited spices); two bedrooms (one king and one queen); a spacious bathroom; and a washer and dryer.

RV hook-ups (electric only) are located adjacent to cabin for larger group gatherings. A fire pit and charcoal grill are also provided. A 6-acre stocked pond is located on the property for fishing enthusiasts.

This cabin is located just minutes from several attractions, including the restaurant’s and shops of Historic Ellijay, Georgia; Red Apple Barn, a variety of wineries, and trails for biking and hiking. Amicalola Falls and the Appalachian Trail are just a 45-minute drive and Chattanooga, Tennessee, is 65 miles northwest of this cabin hideaway.

The property is gated to ensure privacy. Dogs are welcome.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We found the place to be super clean, very accommodating, very comfortable. The bed was great. One of the things that we especially liked was the fact that it was very quiet in the area. Some may not like that, but for us, it was really important. We would stay here again.

Once we got there it is a very nice place. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. Once I got to know the drive there and back to downtown Ellijay, it wasn’t as bad as I first thought. Well worth the trip there.

Enjoyable Home with Reasonable travel to downtown Charleston

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The hose was very responsive and we had no issue with the home itself. The only thing we could complain about was the neighbors who were blasting music quite loudly. Nothing the property owner could do about that. It happened twice while we were the but thankfully did not go on for a long time. Overall we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous scenery. Roomy and rustic cabin. Everything you need available. Easy, fast communication with the host. This was our second stay. Will be back next year. Be sure to grab your essentials on your way in, it is secluded! Love it

Peaceful retreat

Thoughtfully appointed cabin with anything you’ll need to relax and recharge, just bring your clothes and food. Beautifully decorated and with comfortable furniture and quality linens. Impeccably clean! The cabin itself is hidden inside a beautiful quiet farm, with winding dirt roads and all. There is a pond a few steps away with sitting areas and fire pits with stacked wood ready to go. 20ish minutes to downtown Ellijay and Fort Mountain State Park. Quick and easy checkout! We loved our family stay here, wish we had time to stay longer!

Great stay near Ellijay

The house is just as described/pictured. The property is beautiful. We had a terrific time with our fur kids, roaming around the farm. Chris is super responsive and a terrific host, thanks for a great weekend!

Chris was a wonderful host, as were the neighbors. We stayed here for our anniversary and I have to say we'll be back, time and again as long as they'll have us. We didn't need a single thing. Everything you could want was there. Pictures don't do this place justice!

We tool iur 3 1/2 & 7 1/2 yro here to see the fall colors and fo apple picking property really nice so was the cabin my kids loved the pond.Would definitely recommend. .
