Come enjoy a lavish getaway in Ellijay, GA: your home away from home. There are many options to go out and explore the great city of Ellijay or stay in at this quiet, secluded community cabin. It features a full-sized grill, fun activities for the whole family, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The cabin is part of the Coosawattee River Resort which has much to offer such as an arcade, recreation center with tennis and basketball courts, 2 outdoor pools and 1 enclosed pool. If that isn't enough the community also has an 18 hole putting green! This top spot getaway is ideal for couples, families, and groups. Our cabin is also pet friendly so you can truly bring the whole family!

Note: During rainy and winter seasons the gravel driveway gets a little slippery so a 4WD is recommended.

This cabin is by far my favorite VRBO I've ever booked. The pics do not do it justice. We had our teenage daughter and her friend with us, they absolutely loved the lowest level! It has its own living room, bedroom (those bunkbeds are full size beds) game room, bathroom, refrigerator and access to back yard. The main floor master suite has an amazing bathroom with large walk in closet. Third bedroom is on third level...so lots of privacy in between areas. Absolutely best fenced in yard, my dog had the time of her life! The whole cabin is beautifully decorated and very clean! And there are a bunch of cute shops in the "old downtown" and restaurants! I would say the only draw back is the driveway...but its well worth it for the cabin!

Treacherous driveway

House was fine The power went out and had to start Generac myself. Driveway could have been graded before my arrival and texted property manager regarding the driveway. Needless to say the 30 days i was there the driveway didn't get done. I I would not stay there again

Beautiful cabin, however….

Cabin was beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures (if not better). Kitchen well stocked and was clean. The amenities were nice and we loved how secluded and beautiful the property was. Great for a fire and sauna at night! The porch was lovely for morning coffee. I have zero complaints about the cabin itself, however the driveway was an issue. There is a large trench up the steep driveway and it was difficult to get up and down. We had a large SUV. We resorted to parking 1/2 way up the driveway - it was less than ideal but felt I should mention this to future renters to not ruin their car or get stuck getting to and from this property.

Great Home in Ellijay

We are coming from FL so we retreat to the mountain's for spring break to get away from the spring break crowd. This place was perfect. As long as you are able to make it up the drive way. I did read the reviews and switched cars for my smaller but all wheel drive and I'm glad I did. Other than that, the house has all you need, including River Sounds and plenty of deers to see. Less than 20 min from the center of Ellijay downtown where any of the local restaurants gets a 5 star. 40 min to a nice hike in Amicolola Falls which is a must. Host was always responsive. I recommend.

Beautiful and well kept location

We often rent vacation homes and by far, this is one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. The house was all very clean. The linens and towels were plentiful and very nicely presented. The appliances and kitchen utensils were also very plentiful and upscale. There were two set of silverware! The outside area was very comfortable and even though we had cooler weather, enjoyable with a fire. Our family enjoyed playing cornhole. Our stay was too short to enjoy some of the amenities. We did get to the community center and thoroughly enjoyed being able to swim in the heated pool. We were very impressed with everything!

Great getaway trip

We really liked this property. New and modern and very comfortable for our family of 4. A bit tough to get up the hill to the actual house, but after the first time we got used to it. We would definitely stay here again.

Endless charm & comfort!!!

Very charming, spacious and comfortable! This is a fabulous house for family...human & furry! The indoor space is great for socializing yet great separation of spaces for any needed privacy. There was perfect 1st floor accommodations for a family member with mobility issues. The wrap around porch was amazing, again with multiple seating areas. My dog was addicted to the fully fenced yard...so much space to explore. Super close to amenities yet feels far removed from the noise and commotion of tourism. It did not disappoint. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Beautiful property

First let me say the property was really nice and well maintained. It matched the pictures. My two young sons really loved the fenced in backyard. We grilled, had a fire pit going, and really enjoyed our stay. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. The one negative was the driveway. I feel like it would be unfair to people to not give a little caution here, I have a ford expedition and it’s not 4 wheel drive, I got stuck twice trying to come up the steep driveway. If you have a 4 wheel drive it wouldn’t be a problem, if not it can genuinely be hard to get around the last steep turn. Overall I loved the cabin and would definitely recommend it.

This cabin was by far one of our favorite properties to stay at in Coosawattee! The cabin is beautifully decorated, well equipped with all the essentials inside, large fenced yard perfect for dogs, fire-pit, sauna, etc. We had deers in the driveway during the evening, beautiful sunset views and an overall wonderful stay!

Mountain retreat

The moment we pulled up to this wonderful home it was clear this was a great decision. From the exterior grounds to the home itself, it is immaculately kept. The décor is very calming and beautiful and extremely pet friendly. You can tell the owners and designers thought of everything from the layout to the high-end appliances and furnishings that were super comfy and cozy. With each level equipped with a bedroom and bath, it makes for a great getaway for families or couples allowing for privacy and quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable which really made our stay that much more restful. The fireplaces both inside and out made for some stay-at-home days with lovely walks through the hills. The views from the backyard and deck are wonderful and the sunsets from the front of the home are beautiful! You can tell that this property is also set up to have pets and my dog loved the freedom of the fenced-in backyard and dog ramp that gave full access to that yard when we let him out the door every morning! Truly great for a worry-free pet vacation! The location is easy to make day trips to surrounding towns and attractions. The community itself has lots of wonderful roads to hike and waterfalls throughout. Make sure to go to Fife Bridge which is just around the corner in the community. My pup loved running around and jumping in the river! Having an SUV is essential for any mountain home, but the driveway can be tough to navigate due to the grade and some washouts. During our stay, the rock truck came up to maintain the driveway which was great We can’t say enough about this property! We plan on coming back over and over! Thank you, Kishan – you are a super host to us!

Nice home and property

The house is very nicely kept and extremely clean, which is always a relief for pet friendly rentals. There was plenty of space for my family and the dog loved the backyard. Krishan was quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend a 4WD for the driveway.

Beautiful home with great views

This home is impeccably clean and decorated so nicely. Comfortable seating inside and out. Beds are very comfortable and shower/water pressure was great. Upscale appliances and furnishings. Fireplace and outside fire pit just lovely. The views out back are great since you are high up the mountain. We would recommend 4WD to navigate the roads and driveway. Go through the main gate if you are adventurous and want to experience the community. Go through the back gate if you are less adventurous and want quicker in/out access. Kishan is so easy to communicate with - very responsive. We enjoyed our stay!

A+++ Experience start to finish

The owner is quick to respond to inquiries and questions. He was delightful. The home.....imagine an interior designer friend loaned you their house for a week in the magical mountains. It's perfection. We hope to stay again this summer. The outdoors is perfectly dog friendly and dreamy. The dogs even have a dog ramp to get down to the yard and a small dog door on the bottom level for summer time or non snowy weather :) The driveway is typical for Coosawattee. I have all wheel so it was easy the other 2 cars don't and they were fine....they were just a little worried the first time (night one was ice/snow) and we're fine. The bathrooms and kitchen are A+! Beds were delightful. Rent!

Cozy Red Cabin

What a wonderful stay we had in this Cozy Red Cabin. Let me say that I am super picky about rentals and I was thrilled with this one! It is perched on top of a small hill which allows for privacy, lots of sunshine and beautiful views. It is in a great location in Ellijay, 15 min from downtown and is only 5 minutes from the back entrance of the mountain community, so it was easy to get in and out of for day trips and grocery store runs. The driveway has a slight incline, but is no problem in a car or for taking walks. There is much flat surface in the front of the house for plenty of parking. The cabin is “like new”, very clean and is in perfect condition inside and out. It is beautifully decorated and the furniture and beds are super comfy. We loved cooking in the kitchen as it is completely opened to the living area and the appliances are fabulous! What really set this rental apart for us is the back yard. It is totally fenced which was a perfect place for our poodle to run around freely. It was just so festive with the party lights, fire pit and corn hole set up. We hung out in the back yard much of our stay. Fun Fun Fun was had by all! We would definitely rent this property again!!! Bonus…Kishan was a great host and answered our questions immediately. Great house near Ellijay town

This house was great! Very clean, kitchen was well appointed (but bring your own spices, oil, etc). We loved sitting on the deck watching the sunset while the dog ran around! Highly recommend!

Pictures don't do it justice

The house appears to be either well kept up or fairly recently updated as everything is fresh and new. The furnishings and decor all go together perfectly. I like that there are 3 full bathrooms and two separate sitting areas to relax and watch TV at night. The house is pet-friendly and set up perfectly for a dog. The wrap-around porch has a built-in ramp for the dog to go to the fully fenced-in yard. The house was spotless when we arrived. You can tell that they take pride in keeping the place clean and fresh. We went during the changing of the leaves and it was just beautiful to see all the colors from the porch every morning while drinking a cup of coffee. There is a comfortable distance between homes where the neighbor isn't near and you feel very secluded and private. I would definitely recommend this rental. The owner was also very responsive with messages during the visit.

Stunning Mountain Rental with Great Hosts!

Rented this property for the week after labor day...and couldn't be more pleased! The house was absolutely beautiful with high end furnishings and appliances. It is even more beautiful than the pictures! Our fur babies enjoyed the fenced in yard and freedom. Kishan was awesome to deal with and very punctual with any questions we had. He was also very accommodating with all of our requests! The home is secluded but yet convenient to town! I highly recommend staying here...you will not be disappointed!
