    All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

    Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels, 4 kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

If you're looking for the perfect location and want to be right up on the river, then look no further. Cartecay Canoe House was so clean and the perfect getaway for my wife and I. It was such a peaceful, relaxing time with each other. We had the opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of our daily life. Oh, and the hot tub was already up to temperature when we arrived so we just got right in and instantly melted into relaxation mode! The booking process was so easy and the rep was so helpful that it makes using Blue Sky a no-brainer in the future...thanks so much!

I understand you can not control insects outside the cabin. Exterior could do with a good power wash to remove spiderwebs. We were unable to use the Adirondack chairs as they were covered with ants.We did not see any insects inside the cabin. Special thanks to the office staff for warning us about the steep walk from the parking pad and the stairs. If we had not known about this prior to renting the cabin we would have been very surprised.Overall, we were well prepared for what to expect and happy with our choice of cabin. Helpful and interested in us being happy with the property we selected.

Beautiful location

The home is clean and wrll equipped. Location is beautifully. The stairs and Steep slope to get to the cabin is a bit much. There should be more explanation on the listing. The owner is great with communication prior to the rental. However the management company is ill equipped for emergencies. The day we arrived there was a tornado and power was knocked out. When speaking with them the next day they had no suggestions as to how to remediate my needs. I have medical equipment that requires power. This was also a working vacation. There suggestion "go to starbucks"After 30 hours with no power we had no choice but to leave Steesteep slope are a bit much. I thr

We had minor problems finding the place with the given directions and were given the wrong gate code

We had minor problems finding the place with the given directions and were given the wrong gate code to get in. So after about 45minutes, we did finally find the right gate and get access. We were quite disappointed to find that the driveway to the cabin, doesn't go down to the cabin. We didn't know this up front. There is a long stairway case that you have to go up and down. So that was a big downer. The driveway to park is very narrow and steep. So don't go down unless you have 4wd. Upon the inconvenience , when we called the rental place, they were very nice and understanding of the situation and offered to move us to another cabin. However, despite the aggravation, we decided to stay because the river access and view made up for everything. Pictures don't do justice, the view from the cabin windows were perfect. Very clean and organized cabin. Everything inside and outside was easy to find. We had plenty of towels and necessities for the bathroom, kitchen and laundry. We stayed 4 days and had a wonderful time. Location is far enough in the woods that you truly feel In The Woods. Location isn't far from downtown Ellijay. 5 miles at the most so driving back and forth to the areas were perfect. The hot tub was very nice and clean- though you may want to open it and let it air out some due to the fume smells from the chlorine. The rental agency even called us throughout our stay to check on us and make sure we were happy and had all we needed. Big plus! We felt like we were wanted and that they cared that we enjoyed our stay and we did! I highly recommend Blue Sky Cabin Rentals to anyone wanting that perfect vacation or weekend get away. We felt we were at home even though we were away from home. It's worth your time and money. I promise. We will for sure be staying at another cabin in the near future
