Relax in this peaceful rural home. Farm and mountain views, Minutes from Massanutten Resort and the Water Park, Shenandoah National Park, Tube or raft the Shenandoah River. 15 minutes from JMU. Relax for the weekend while visiting your student.! Shopping, Wineries, Breweries, etc. Cozy up in this quiet cottage for rest and relaxation, romantic getaway, or use the cottage as a home base while your family explores the many local attractions that the Shenandoah Valley has to offer.
2 queen beds, 1 full bed, TVs, wi-fi, full kitchen, full bath, washer/dryer, firepit, grill, outdoor seating, picnic table, and more.
The space
Living room is furnished with comfy sofa, loveseat, and round chair great for napping, ceiling fan, and large TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining in (full fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker, kitchen table and chairs, etc). The full bathroom has a bathtub/shower, vanity, toilet, built in storage, medicine cabinet, and towels.
Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, TV, dresser with mirror, and garment rack. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, TV, chest of drawers, closet with shelving and hanging bar. Bedroom 3 has a full size bed, closet with shelving and hanging bar, entry to laundry area.
Large side deck, outdoor lighting, firepit (wood provided), outdoor seating, picnic table, grill, large parking area.
Guest access
Guests have access to all areas of the house and yard except for the basement.

The house literally had everything you could ever need to be comfortable which never ever happens for us at rentals. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house was super cozy. Close to everything while still being in the country. Literally no complaints, highly recommend.

The house was perfect. Decorated so cute and had everything we needed. Short distance to Shenandoah for hiking but close to town for conveniences like gas and groceries.

The cottage was located on a farm with cows and donkeys grazing in the background. It was very clean and well stocked, the host thought of everything you could need. Even left us a yummy spice cake from a local bakery. Great location close to hiking, Shenandoah National Park and entrance to Skyline Drive.

A friend and I stayed at this fine cottage over the weekend. We came to do some astrophotography at Big Meadows and didn’t feel like camping with our photography gear. So we stayed at this Cottage. Beds where comfortable, there was bottles of water in frig for us, kuerig coffee , and a box of chocolate chip cookies for us to eat. It was a very clean place easy to relax in. I could tell the details matter to this host. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends looking for a place close to skyline dr or Massanutten. A place !

What a beautiful little home! We were pleasantly surprised to find so many extras: shampoo, soap, coffee pods, creamers, yummy cookies and muffins, wood for a campfire with helpful marshmallow roasting sticks...the list goes on and on! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and look forward to staying again.

A great place to stay near Shenandoah

This is an adorable house very close to Shenandoah National Park. It was well stocked, and we enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit and watching the stars. We like this house so much we've stayed here twice, and would definitely come back!

Fabulous Country Retreat!

We three friends planned a crafting retreat midway between our homes and this wonderful home was just the ticket. It was exactly what we needed! Mini break

We only had three days to pack in as much outside time as we could, and this lovely house was a perfect base. It was an easy drive to Shenandoah National Park, Harrisonburg and Grand Caverns. We cooked for ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed. We grilled outside and had a lovely fire in the fire pit. Everything was wonderful!

The Coziest Little House

Might just be the coziest place I’ve ever stayed in. It’s fairly isolated and quiet but also fairly close and conveniently located about 10 minutes away from Massanutten Resort. The owner was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Lovely farm visit

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean and comfortable. Susan thoughtfully left tasty treats for us. We especially liked the fire pit and being able to see the farm animals in the field behind the house. We would definitely stay here again.

So much better than the photos!

This adorable little house was absolutely amazing. So comfortable and Susan even had all the fall décor out. The home was stocked as if someone lives there. There were all the things you could need AND then some. She left a little candy bowl on the table and a lovely bread for our breakfast with coffee. The beds were all very comfortable and the bedrooms were so cute! I cant say enough about how great this house was! And as if the amazing accommodations were not enough, let me tell you about those views. We stayed on the weekend of 10/25 which is a perfect time to come watch the leaves change. Absolutely stunning views! In the end we got a visit from Susan to make sure we enjoyed our stay and she was just as pleasant as I would have expected her. Cant wait to come back again!

Nice house, great location. Close to Shenandoah national Park, which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening as well. Host was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
