  • Esta encantadora cabaña de troncos original, "River’s Edge", construida en 1910, se encuentra en casi un acre de propiedad frente al río. Cuenta con 3 dormitorios, 1 baño, sala de lavandería, dormitorio principal grande, 2 chimeneas, WiFi gratuito, televisores modernos, reproductores de DVD y VCR con una videoteca. Duerme 6 más 2 niños en el sofá cama en la sala de estar. El gran porche en el porche delantero es excelente para cenar o leer un libro. La propiedad cuenta con una gran terraza con vista al río, una amplia área de fogatas, parrillas de gas y carbón y una bañera de hidromasaje para 6 personas. Búscanos en FB para conocer las actividades durante todo el año: pesca, kayak, tubing, golf, esquí, snowboard, observación de vida salvaje, escalada, ciclismo de montaña y espeleología. This quaint cabin right on Shavers Fork was a dream stay for our little family! My son, who recently started fly fishing, had the time of his life catching a variety of fish over our long weekend stay. We enjoyed family meals in the well stocked kitchen and on the charcoal grill (thanks for providing all the extras for grilling). Thank you again for sharing this beautiful, historical cabin with us!

Clean, comfortable, cozy cabin. Everything you need for a peaceful stay. Being able to go in the river was a great bonus. The kitchen is well stocked. I am already planning our next visit.

Easy, that’s the first word that comes to mind. The hospitality of the host, the overall comfort and well supplied cabin, the ideal location, several fishing spots on the property. Couldn’t ask for a better get away for our family. So quiet and peaceful in the evenings and at night. Cabin has so much character while also having access to modern amenities makes your stay….Easy.

The cabin was perfect for our group and helped to make the trip special. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck overlooking the river and spent time around the fire pit. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to be. Thank you!

We had such a peaceful and memorable stay at this rustic log cabin by the river. The setting is absolutely beautiful — quiet, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. Waking up to the sound of the water and spending slow mornings surrounded by nature was exactly what we needed.The cabin itself has a cozy, charming feel that really complements the natural surroundings. It feels like a true escape from the busyness of everyday life.We truly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to coming back again in the future.

If you're looking for a fancy, luxurious cabin, this isn't for you. But if you're looking for an authentic cabin with character, this is it! We loved our stay there! A realistic cabin stay with modern amenities, huge master bedroom, 2 fireplaces, complimentary firewood, deck overlooking the river, clean and functioning hot tub, and an owner that quickly responds. It has it's flaws...uneven, creaky floors, doors that don't quite fit right...but it was perfect for us! And the sound of the rain on the metal roof was great! We loved it! Beware, the little wooden bridge is slippery when wet... don't ask how we know! Lol

This property was described exactly as it is. And it was amazing. Communication with the owner was top notch. I couldn't be happier with the cabin and its properties. I wish I would have caught more fish.But that's my fault, not the properties. I will definitely be staying there again.

Host was friendly, easy to communicate with, flexible, and accommodating.Check in and checkout were simple and uncomplicated.Cabin was adorable and rustic with very nice new appliances. Host provided pretty much anything you might need. Window units were highly effective at cooling downstairs, upstairs loft area was harder to cool because both window units are downstairs, but host also provided fans for upstairs too.River access is just steps away from the cabin. The deck overlooking the river was my favorite part because we could fish right off the deck with ease whenever we wanted to and keep an eye our kids playing in the river at the same time.Hot tub was in excellent condition.Host provided firewood for the fire pit, which was an awesome bonus.This cabin experience was great all across the board. It was the perfect family vacation for us and our kids.

Cabin is comfortable and clean. Very nice kitchen and bath. Being on the river was wonderful. Only downside was 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are very difficult to maneuver.
