Beautiful Decorated Apartment located in the heart of Downtown Bardstown, KY

Beautifully restored apartment overlooking beautiful downtown Bardstown, KY. Experience all that Bardstown has to offer with shopping, great food and a vibrant nightlife. Spend a relaxing night in your completely private 1200 sq. ft. apartment above our quaint Soap & Candle Shop (Making Good Scentz). Enjoy a brand new spa-like bathroom and newly designed layout featuring private bedrooms with queen beds as well as a pull out convertible couch that creates a full-size bed. Each room has Televisions with Cable TV. Complimentary wifi is also available. Designated parking in back. Coffee, tea, water and light snacks provided. Living room also includes a work desk for our business travelers.

Just a short walk to many amenities including food, bars, nightlife, drug stores, groceries as well as many local historical and Kentucky Bourbon Trail activities.

The apartment is located on the second floor above our soap and candle shop. Each booking will receive a guest sample pack of items (soaps/lotions/lip balms, sugar scrubs and lotion bars) as part of your nights stay as a complimentary gift. Amenities include: Soap/shampoo, coffee, tea, water and light snacks. Keyless entry alleviates the need to get "checked in".

5 Stars – Perfect Stay in the Heart of Bardstown!We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable VRBO! The location couldn’t be better—right in downtown Bardstown and within easy walking distance to everything: restaurants, shops, and historic sites. The home itself was beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of charm. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!

Location Location Location! Steven was great to work with. Do yourself a favor and check out his business below. Very fun to make a candle and check out the sents. The lotion is amazing. Bardstown is lovely southern hospitality at it finest.

Fun time in Bardstown.

We were in town to go to the dinner train. We booked this place for one night but wish we could have stayed longer! The decor is upscale cool and yet very comfortable. Our only suggestion would be we would have liked a handrail on the front stairs.

Perfect Bardstown Getaway

The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Bardstown and Louisville. The property was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Stairs are required to access the apartment but even my 80 year old dad had no issue navigating them. Wonderful restaurants, bars and shopping just steps away.

A wonderful find!!

I will sing high praises to anyone planning a trip to Bardstown! Fantastic little apartment right in the middle of town! Clean and comfortable and walkable to many places in town! The owner was excellent with communicating and the location could not be better. Even being on the Main drag it was quiet. We hope to come back soon! The only thing for some people would be the stairs. If you are mobile it’s all good!

Right in the Middle of Bardstown

Completely updated loft apartment right on the main drag of town. Has everything you would need and more. Could comfortably fit two couples for a night or a week. Fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, knifes and even dishsoap. A great addition was the soap and shampoo in the shower, snacks on the table and even a sample pack on products from the shop directly below. We did our research ahead of time and knew this unit has stairs, three different sets, two in the back where you park and one from the Main Street. So if stairs are an issue, don’t get this unit. If they’re not a problem you won’t regret staying here as it’s so nice and walking distance to everything in downtown Bardstown.

Perfect location

This unit is perfectly situated on the main drag in downtown Bardstown. It is walkable to many restaurants and shops. We popped out the front door and had breakfast, lunch, and dinner options within a few steps.The unit itself is very comfortable and well-appointed. The bedrooms were on the smaller side, and the beds were comfortable. The sitting area and kitchen had everything we needed as well. The in-unit washer and dryer were a great addition.The parking in the rear is very convenient, with a reserved space next to the stairs and plentiful additional parking available if you have more than one vehicle. It's a quick drive to several distilleries in the area as well, if that's the purpose of your visit (it was for ours). Additionally, the liquor store downstairs has great prices if you want to taste/tour at the distilleries then buy later.I'd highly recommend this apartment, and will rent again upon our return trips!

Super convenient and comfortable

This place was great! Right downtown within walking distance to shopping, dinning, coffee shops, etc. Great shower pressure, fans in the bedrooms. I slept great. Sweet box of treats from the soap shop downstairs.
