"If you are looking for a beautiful, wooded getaway with no other humans, this is it! A comfortable home with everything you need to cook, rest, and enjoy a break from your phone. Easy 1.5 hour drive from Birmingham Alabama. My family had a great time at the "secret beach"! I loved it as an adult, but my 7-year-old was absolutely enamored. I loved waking up to the view of the treetops from the master bedroom looking out on to the private balcony. Going to stay longer next time! "

"The property was very pretty and well thought out. The house was also well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the low boat traffic location too! Best house we have stayed at yet! The only negative was there is one AC unit for upstairs and downstairs. It was chilly for the people downstairs and a little warm for the people upstairs. "We were in town for a family reunion. This is the second time we have stayed here at the cabin. We love It more each year. They have everything you could need. Very clean and very accommodating. Host was the best. Great at communicating and even checked on us due to some severe weather while we were there. Will definitely be back again. "

"The cabin is very cute. Someone with children this is great! It is not secluded. It has a neighbor within 20 feet of you and the porches are facing each other. If you like privacy, it’s not the place. The place is just cute with plenty to do. But the house next door that close is a deal breaker for privacy."

"The listing was very accurate based on pictures and had a very true lake house feel. Only complaint is about the next-door neighbor's dog. The red brick house had a dog that came over to our rental property and barked aggressively and blocked my grandkids and daughter in law from walking up the path to the house from boat ramp. The owner eventually came out and got the dog. We only had the one-time problem."

"This property is UNBELIEVABLE - even better than the photos! The home itself is gorgeous and designed to complement the beautiful, natural surroundings - lovely stone and wood and so many wonderful design touches! Every detail was thought of when considering guest needs - plenty of fridge space and ice (even at the dock!), a coffee bar area, spacious showers...the list goes on! But what made the property particularly spectacular for us was the outdoor space - multiple covered decks with comfy...
