"A beautiful setting with a view of open waters and sky from the deck off our room! Truly meant for nature lovers and visitors looking for serenity. The room was clean and spacious. The host was over the top helpful with things to do, maps and places to eat! Breakfast was good with a wide selection of breads and fruits…only thing missing was cooked eggs and meat. We were so impressed with the host’s genuine hospitality to us. We’d return to Cliffside Inn in a heartbeat!"

"The owners have done a great job updating and maintaining an affordable motel. It's less than 5 minutes from the airport and easy access to town and the bypass. Our room (in the newer building) didn't have anywhere to put our clothes if we wanted to unpack and didn't have an iron or ironing board. The ends were firm but comfortable. Our room had a brand new full sized fridge, over and cooktop, microwave and toaster. We would stay there again. It's a good budget option and better than you...

"It is in a very pretty spot near the North River. Cows (ice cream) is about a block away and open til 10pm. There is parking and a gas station across the street. I was in #5, my room was lovely no problems and the tv worked, basic cable but still good. I would recommend for a short stay."

"I had a good stay here. Despite being old and outdated, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The satellite TV was nice to have, and having a kitchenette would be a nice addition if I were staying longer. Check in/out was easy, and there was a breakfast available but I didn't have it. Location was great for me, only 10 minutes from downtown Charlottetown. I liked the chairs outside of the room as well."

"When we arrived they didn’t have a room for us due to a “glitch in their system”. I had the confirmation from Expedia and everything but it didn’t show on their system for a check in that day and there were no rooms left."

"It’s a beautiful old building. The age shows in some places, but it is clean and well maintained. We especially like that there are lots of cosy places to sit outside at night. They weren’t responsive to messages but instructions arrived the morning of and arrival and check-in was smooth. We saw our host on the second day and he asked if we needed anything. There are vending machines for snacks and even laundry. There is enough parking. Centrally located in easy walking distance to many things."

"This is a simple, reasonably priced place to stay in Charlottetown. It was a great location with lively entertainment and diverse dining in the surrounding blocks. A few things I wish I’d known before staying on a Friday night: - don’t stress too much about where to park. As of 6 PM, the meters in front of the hotel become free for the weekend! We were able to park right in front of the building for free. - bring earplugs even if you’re not a light sleeper. I can sleep well most of the time...

"A beautiful historic hotel, we found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, comfortable suite (ours had a kitchen) and loved that we could do laundry at the onsite laundry machines. We could walk everywhere in old Charlottetown, and parking was free at the hotel. I would stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone I know travelling to PEI."
