"The property is absolutely beautiful and it was very calming and comfortable. Ben was very responsive to our communication. The property was beautifully furnished and the owner shared fresh eggs with us. Everything was just as it was listed and check- in was simple. We will love to stay here again."

"The view from this property outweighs any minor inconveniences. It is the most spectacular vista right outside your doorstep. The kitchen worked well, but I do suggest bringing some salt despite a full array of other spices and seasonings. The outdoor shower looked fun and adventurous; however, it did not work. So, the large bathtub had to do! Overall, this was an amazing stay. Highly recommend if you want to connect with nature and be in absolute solitude."

"Beautiful, well appointed house and just what we were looking for. Fantastic, classic New Mexico view from the front porch. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient to Santa Fe, Abiqui, and El Rito for dinner. Definitely recomnend ut and we will probably return "

"Host was very responsive and entry into the house was easy. Happy we had a vehicle with high clearance for the road up to the house. Conveniently close to the Abiqui Inn and the Georgia O’Keefe Welcome center. Had a very pleasant stay. "

"The backyard was amazing and made the stay here worth it just by itself! Lots of seating right along the river and a picnic table. The flowers and grass were well maintained. The inside of the house had everything we needed for our 2-day stay. The only thing I’ll say is there is no cell service there but they did have WiFi that worked great. Overall we would definitely recommend!"

"This was my second visit to La Lomita. Last summer I stayed with my teen son and this year I came back with my husband for our first solo vacation in TEN years. La Lomita was perfect for its proximity to Santa Fe, Chimayo, and Taos, but what really drew us was the quiet, beauty. We felt like we were in a world to ourselves. We especially loved sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and reading. My favorite Expedia/VRBO stay ever. "

"We came on a Sunday night, hard to find on app, and we were completely alone until after dark, as the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. We loved the room-it could use a microwave especially as it is so isolated)and the views are fabulous"

"This adobe sits amid the most beautiful vistas in Abiquiu area. The artistic intent is evident in the charming adobe, from the hewn wood beams and trim, rock walls and walkway, stone shower, and SW decor. I was looking for solitude and found it here. Very close to O’Keefe museum, Plaza Blanca and Ghost Ranch. On clear nights, the constellations were too many to count as the Milky Way arched over the casita. Perfect for a getaway for 1-2 people. The host was very responsive to questions."

"This is our 3rd stay at “The Getaway.”It’s a wonderful place for all ages. If you need a break and place to reset from the daily grind this is the sanctuary to do so. We enjoy the quiet to read and reconnect with family on the porch over a cup of coffee or a meal at the table. Our family enjoys playing card or board games or walks down to the river. We always come home refreshed! Abby is a gracious host who provides an inviting atmosphere for all to enjoy! We look forward to returning this Fall."

"Jim and Marilu's house is very comfortable with a good sized kitchen and dining area plus plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen is well equipped for longer stays. The area by the creek is lovely and I enjoyed having coffee and listening to the water and birds. The deck is also wonderful to eat or sit and enjoy the views. My friends really enjoyed visiting. I liked that the house was far enough from the main highway to not hear traffic yet close enough for easy access. There is good hiking and...

"We have often traveled through this area but wanted to stay and explore for a few days. We couldn't have chosen a better location! The casita was an enchanting historical building set in a breathtaking area. Floyd was so welcoming and gave us great advice of things to do and places to see in the area. Definitely the place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of northern New Mexico."
