"We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. "

"The house is in a beautiful position and has amazing views. It is a comfortable size and plenty of equipment and little welcome features. I booked the property when it was described as two double beds in two rooms and two bedrooms with a double bed in each .This was perfect for us. That was not the case and we had to double up with people we would not usually sleep with. Also the leaving time was moved to 10 am and l especially wanted a property with 11 am. "Great property! Well organized and equipped with everything you need (aside from a dishwasher). Just a short drive to Lunenburg. We loved kayaking right from the dock. The inlet is very calm and the kids loved exploring the islands and waterways. "

"My husband and I (plus our dog) enjoyed 5 nights at this beautiful spot. Had really good food options close by and it was a great spot to visit Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy the area. Super peaceful. We had a lovely time."

"The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again."

"This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. "Very sweet cottage, totally cut off from the world. A little private oasis! Kayaked, swam off the dock, watched the birds and seals in the bay. 100/10 would come back again and again!! "

"Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay."

"Peaceful, quiet. I like how a guest service team member came to check in with me abiut a half hour after I git settled in, wanting to know if there was anything I needed. And they also built my fire for me in the fire pit, so I would have no trouble getting it going. It's those little niceties that make me feel very much at home. And allows me to truly relax. I love it there! "

"The view and location can’t be beat! We did day trips to surrounding sites and enjoyed happy hour and dinners with the greatest view ever! Good communication with the owner and a 100% total relaxing visit!"

"A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!"

"We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. It’s a bit of a drive outside of the city, but we were just there at the end of the night to sleep, so we didn’t mind it, and it was a nice, quiet area. All in all,...
