"Charming old house, in a nice quiet neighborhood.The property is pet friendly, with that being said there was a faint pet / sour towel smell in the living room.The beds were comfortable, and the shower was great!Overall, it was good for our stay, and we will book again for another visit."

"We chose Donna's home for a birthday party where we needed room for more people than I wanted in my own home. The house is so cute and was perfect for the party. Donna was extremely helpful and accommodating. We will hopefully use this home again in the future. "

"We were visiting our daughter at IWU and this was an excellent location just blocks from the school. House was very charming and super clean! Communication with our host was excellent. Overall, highly recommend! "

"Pretty good place to stay for a short stay. The location is good. Good communication with host. Pros: Fast internet, comfortable mattress, Amazon Fire, plenty of towels, good size family room with large couch, keurig coffee. Some things to watch out for: Although the mattress was comfortable, it was on a very noisy metal bed frame which could make it difficult for sensitive sleepers. The kitchen is really only meant to make small, simple meals. The fridge was the size of one you would find in a...

"The historic Burr House is beautiful! Original owners in the 1860s were acquainted with Lincoln. Lovely woodwork, built in cabinets. Beautifully furnished with 6 bedrooms, great beds and bedding and towels. Plenty of hot water for 5 showers in a row one morning! Across the street is a charming park where children swing, people walk their dogs and the atmosphere is inviting. Great for reunions!"

"The property was beautiful and exactly what we needed for our event. The most used space was the big dining room table where all the girls got hair and makeup done before the wedding. The game room downstairs was a fun place to gather after the rehearsal dinner. There was plenty of room for all the guests to feel like they had their own private space. "

"My cousins and I (ages 36-43) had a fantastic weekend away at this lovely spot. We enjoyed being able to be together and enjoy our time as people instead of partners and moms! The house was adorable and impeccably clean. It was a great location for a quick jaunt to downtown for lunch. Sara, our host, was responsive and accommodating. We are already giving great consideration to staying here again for our weekend next year!"

"Space was clean and cute. My only complaint is the sulfuric water, although, they had an additional water source for drinking. The property is located next door to a cemetery, which for me is not a problem at all, but I know many people would want that information before booking. I’m thankful to the hosts though! They truly were wonderful! "
