DO NOT BOOK THIS LISTING! HOUSE IS FILTHY, NOT MAINTAINED, INFESTED WITH ROACHES (Roach traps to prove), and unreasonable host. The house is non refundable for a reason. They are aware of the poor quality they provide.
The house itself is stunning at first glance. My family and I booked this home after the passing of two family members. It was an effort to come together, while also celebrate my brother’s graduation from SDSU.
We found roaches throughout the home, in beds, etc. The guest room pull out bed had a full package of Oreos and crumbs all over the bed- proving that the home had not been thoroughly cleaned.
The shower was clogged and filling the tub with old brown back up.
-My mothers Saturday after the graduation was spent washing every bedroom sheet
- The same guest bathroom bottom cabinet drawer was not on the tracks and fell on my foot
- The fire pit had an empty propane tank, so we had to buy our own. Host said it’s our responsibility, although the original listing did not state this
- The pool heater. The pool was not heated until after 6PM Saturday, until our self discovery that we would have to manually turn on the heat through the equipment panel. This detail was not provided, so we did not enjoy the additional amount we paid
I attempted to work with the host. Their response was that I should’ve told them during my stay, while our family was trying to enjoy each others company. Take accountability for not providing a clean home worth this rate!
