“De Molen van Egmond” (“The Mill of Egmond”) is a very unique and luxurious, completely renovated holiday home that is located in the dunes of beautiful Egmond, next to a very small-scale recreation park. This holiday home really is one of a kind! Around this mill there is a spacious terrace with a table, benches and in addition a comfortable lounge set. From this terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the dunes landscape. From here you can walk straight into the dunes or to the beach of Egmond aan Zee, that is located in very close vicinity. Inside this holiday mill you will enjoy everything you have wished for during your stay and you will not be short of anything.

Layout holiday home

The ground floor offers a spacious living room with a sitting area and a dining table, a modern and fully equipped kitchen and a separate toilet. From the ground floor you can directly walk into the very spacious private terrace, which surrounds the mill. The two bedrooms are situated on the first floor and each have a double bed, that both can be pushed apart. The bathroom that offers a shower and a sink is also located on the first floor.

Surroundings

This holiday mill is located in very close vicinity of the beach and the sea, so you can easily get there by bike. For daily shopping you can find a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher and a fishmonger within walking distance from your house. The pleasant village of Egmond aan Zee is very nearby, but also the artists' village of Bergen and the historic center of Alkmaar are certainly worth bringing a visit. This area offers entertainment for young and old! If you are in a “sporty mood” you can go to the beach, the dunes or the beautiful woods. But you can also bring a visit to these highlights if you are looking for peace and quiet.

This is a unique place, nice location. lots of space downstairs and outside. It is NOT child friendly or ok for older people - there are no stairs but ladders to get to the bedrooms. Hard to get up there with luggage - do not know how you would get children up there safely.

Schöne kalte Mühle

Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem sehr außergewöhnlichen und schönen Objekt. Allerdings Probleme mit der Beheizung, 16 Grad am Morgen gegen 8.30 Uhr. Abhilfe erst nach 3 Telefonaten mit der Agentur

Aufenthalt in Egmonder Mühle

Ein toller Aufenthalt, die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fussläufig, mit Fahrrad oder Auto ist man schnell in Egmond an Zee, Bergen, Bergen an Zee, den Schorlse Duinen mit wundervollen Wandermöglichkeiten oder in Alkmaar zur Stadttour. Die Mühle ist eine wirklich gemütliche wie einzigartige Unterkunft. Wie schon beschrieben, muss man ein paar Stufen klettern um die Schlafräume zu erreichen, und bei unserem Aufenthalt sahen die Ausseneinrichtungen etwas mitgenommen aus (Pflanzen trocken und Möbel etwas verwittert). Das Check-in war neu für uns, mit Abgabe eines online-Schlüssels und ohne Personal. Das sind aber nur Details, dies hat den Gesamteindruck nicht geschmälert.

Na, was soll man sagen? In einer alten Mühle, die sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist, ein Wochenende verbringen zu können. Spricht doch für sich!!! Herrlich und sehr außergewöhnlich😊 Wir kommen gerne wieder
