"I arrived in the middle of the team’s Diwali celebrations and felt awful (they’d closed the bar for a few hours), however the team were so welcoming and friendly, and made me feel at home. Room was immaculate, quiet and comfy bed. Parking easy and off the road, so felt secure. Excellent freshly cooked full English was delicious Will stay again, and next time eat at the restaurant as the food smelled wonderful!"

Very good traditional breakfast, but a variety of healthy options available too. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, with an off-site parking area that can be completely full when you get there, so you need to find an alternative yourself. "Super little boutique hotel, this was our second stay and we hope to stay again. The hotel is in a great position close to the award winning market and the town. Lots of interesting eating and drinking venues close by and lovely walks along the Severn River. The food at the Loopy Shrew is excellent as is the service. "

Taxi into Shrewsbury town was £10 and 15 - 20 minutes. The staff at the Riverside Inn are its greatest asset, polite, friendly, knowledgeable bout the local area, made time to chat and had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. "
