"Haven is the perfect description for our stay. The property was so unique. As it was October, Dena decorated the place with a Halloween theme. Didn't expect this so it was a nice pleasant surprise. "This is the perfect place for a large family group that want to be totally removed from the lights and noise of the city. It's an older farmhouse that's been updated with some very nice appointments. Our favorite, and most unexpected thing was the herd of cows grazing behind the house. "This was excellent for our multigenerational family gathering. The fire pit was a good center point to gather. Very pet friendly, fully fenced. Had all the right equipment to bbq and cook. The host was very accommodating from the time we booked the property and was available through the stay. Close to downtown so we could walk everywhere. Some traffic noise and lots of stairs to consider. Overall it was just what we needed! "

"The location of this cottage is very scenic and peaceful. The seasonal lake had dried up by the time of our our late September/early October stay, but we enjoyed watching the birds and other wildlife in the resulting meadow. Everything in the kitchen worked well, and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely rent again."
