"Wonderful whimsical weekend stay. We felt like we'd landed at Hagrids Hut, surrounded by the forbidden forest. 10 out of 10 highly recommend for somw off grid shenanigans. Beautiful marked trails to explore through old wood growth and marshlands with wildlife galore."

"This VRBO was very clean and inside a lovely, self-built home. We had no complaints, however, the listing could have been clearer that the owner and family live in the other half of the house and have access to walk into the renter's half of the house at any point. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to a large group. The house has lots of wildlife, which offers a relaxing stay in the woods. "

"Well appointed getaway in the heart of mid-Michigan farm country. This was our second visit, and we loved it just as much (if not more, if that's possible) this time! My best friend was married in the owners' barn two years ago, when we stayed, so this trip was a lot more relaxed and we got to appreciate the beautiful rural surroundings more.
