"Wow! Thank you Outlook Inn. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room had been upgraded to an ocean view room. Thank you universe, Expedia and outlook staff. "We absolutely loved our time at this cabin! The grounds, the waterfront and the dock were beautiful. The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. "This place is cute and quaint, and the location is perfect - walkable to everything in the main "village" area. The rooms are unique (I peaked inside a few) and homey, and there are many lovely common areas such as outdoor seating and a wraparound porch. It was calm and quiet despite being fully booked, and when we did run into other guests it felt like we were all friends staying together. "

"We loved the accommodations of the Friday Harbor Suites. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. There was an electrical problem in the bathroom’s socket and it was fixed immediately. We loved that it had a Movie Theatre and a library section. We loved that the parking was so accessible. We walked to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely go back. The Medio Cafe had delicious variety of food and beverages. We will definitely go back."

Waldron Lookout, accessible via a spur trail at 1.5 miles up the northern trail. Turtleback Mountain is a wilderness-preservation success story. Recently the target of a development effort on Orcas Island, a popular weekend destination for people from Seattle, it was saved from that fate largely by the efforts of one man and his organization, Tim Seifert, executive director of the San Juan Preservation Trust. Thanks to their work, the mountain is now a wilderness area, in perpetuity. As a bonus, a network of trails is now available to allow hikers and sight-seers a chance to explore the mountain. The trails are beautiful and serene and not nearly as crowded as those on the more popular Mount Constitution, which sits on the other side of the island. There are just a few open viewpoints, such as this one, but they do pack a punch. Beyond that, the forest scenery is just fantastic.
