"The room was spotless and classy with some local chips and water in the rooms. Excellent for our small dog with amazing views and walking paths. I would also recommend a local breakfast spot Ames Street Cafe. We talked with another guest and we both enjoyed the home made local food. The rapids right next to the hotel was fantastic for wildlife and cool scenery. Short walk see the Elk River to flow into the east bay. It would be a great opportunity for a summer stay if you can get a boat slip....

"Very clean, well equipped. The pool and hot tub were closed which was disappointing since the hot tub was a big part of the reason i boled here, however the owner did bring a pass or another property, bit it was 10 min away and very crowded. She had very quick communication. Woild reccomend to anyone!"

"I had the best stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and had the most amazing view. It is at the best location if you want to walk around to local shops or restaurants and only 30 minutes away from Walloon, Petoskey, etc. for more wineries and restaurants. Communication and the check-in and out process was very smooth and simple. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be staying again! "

"We didn't use the pool. We did walk the back nine of the golf course early and it was enjoyable. The place is super cozy, clean and has everything you may need. The king bed was so comfortable. Will definitely be back. It's close to Bellaire, Boyne Mountain (30min) and traverse City (55 min.) all cool places for day trips! "
