"We loved our time in Charlevoix. This big beautiful house was a good fit for our large family group, ages 1 thru 71.Pros - location is fantastic: fun beach access, beautiful views from the porch, and an easy walk to downtown. Plenty of bathrooms, and most bedrooms with queen-sized beds, which can be hard to find. We had a couple of maintenance issues that the host resolved right away, which was much appreciated. Cons - lots of small rooms, so no easy place for the whole group to gather together...

"We had such a great time! We are a group of 11 high school friends who have remained friends for over 50 years! Yes we are old! We rented a pontoon boat with plans to explore Torch Lake one day and Elk Lake another day, however the weather was unusually cold with rain off and on so we cancelled. There was so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent time in Elk Rapids, Bellaire and Alden exploring, shopping and enjoying the lake views. We spent 1/2 a day at Traverse City Resort and Spa...

" My family very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. The house had everything we needed. It was great to rent the Pontoon boat and Jet Skis available. The view is spectacular. "We were booked to stay in this cottage, however due to a maintenance issue, Nan reached out a couple of days before and offered us their other cabin, located right next door. She and her family offered to move so that we could stay there and not be disturbed by the maintenance workers. So while I cannot speak to this cabin, I can say that Nan was an excellent host and her property was clean, well-stocked and lovely. Would happily rent either cabin from her again."
