"On the plus side—The location of the Sonata is excellent. Within walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The dining room and plant room are both sunny and cheerful. It was nice that they had tea, coffee, snacks available on the main floor and the upstairs floors. On the minus side—our room and bathroom seemed tired and dated. "This hotel advertises as a minimalist experience, and it is. If you need only a bed for the night it works well. If you want a tv in the room, a coffee maker, or a fridge, then I think this is not for you."

"First of all, check-in info said 2 pm... no one is there on site to take care of this.. We sat outside for almost 30 mins, ringing bell occasionally. Finally called the phone # I had and after several tries got a real person...probably the manager.. who tried to be very accommodating, but at this point nothing was going to help. I was told a message had been sent to my 'phone' that morning spelling out access, etc... but the number I had given Expedia was my home phone #, not a cell...
