"We chose this cottage due to its location in Appledore and that it's dog friendly. We stayed in Apple Tree cottage. It was a lovely surprise to see what lay behind the No 5 door. The cottage was clean and cosy. Tastefully decorated. It was well equipped with what you need for a comfortable stay. Free WiFi. TV with Net Flix etc.Nice bathroom with bath and shower. It is close to all the amenities Appledore has to offer. It is an ideal base to discover North Devon, which is beautiful. The garden...

"The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). I called the number given and was asked for a lot of information including my...

"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."
