"We had a great stay at The Tawny Owl. Lovely clean room, comfy bed, decent facilities and a great price meant that itvwas fantastic value. We ate in the pub restaurant and found the food really good and the selection of beers was excellent. "

"Room was comfortable and clean. No air conditioning though so warm at night when weather is warm. Breakfast selection was good but food quality not great. Staff were friendly and accommodating."

"The hotel and its facilities are excellent and the staff were helpful and considerate throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable to stay in although it was a little warmer and stuffy at night. The air conditioning is a little noisy to leave when sleeping. Providing towelling robes was a nice touch but unfortunately both were a medium fit so although my partners fitted I being larger it was not suitable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay J Brett"

"Very easy to find at the T-juction at the top of Calcutt Street. I actually parked in Calcutt Street for free as there are some spaces there. There's also a free car park very close by. The hotel is in a great location on the High Street. I had a single room, number 2, lovely and clean and a really comfy bed. Kettle, tea, coffee and milk pods provided. I didn't need an evening meal but plenty of places nearby to eat out or Tesco Express if you want a snack. Same for breakfast the next day (I...

"Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, quick check-in, helpful staff. Only improvement would be to find a way to prevent the doors in the corridor from slamming shut as quite noisy."

"My wife and I used this as a one night stop over as part of a leisure trip. We were very happy with our choice. Hotel ( which has great spa facilities ) is a mile or so from village which has a few eating and drinking options if not wanting to eat at hotel. Staff excellent . Clean. Many thanks "

"Had a very nice stay at the highworth , would definately come back , the wifi wasn’t working or was just a bad signal , bought it to the attention of the staff and was told that too I was in has issues with signal strength from router , apart from the wifi issue everything else was very nice "
