"This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. "We went for a weekend with our cavapoo. TBH had little treat box, dog towel and little sleeping mat. We brought many of our own things but nice to make him feel welcomed. We had a great stay. The staff were incredibly helpful..walking routes, getting us a table for dinner. We had lovely drinks every evening at the bar with a very large fire and our dog with us. "The hotel was ideal for us as only 30 minutes or so to Goodwood. Good value accommodation. Very helpful staff and the Restaurant food was first rate. Also worth a mention was the Bar where the staff and clientele were so welcoming it reminded us of the bar in 'Cheers'!"

"Nice location, in the deep of Surrey AONB but that’s where it ends. The building itself is dated and needs modernising. It’s great as somewhere to lay your head. Small bathroom, thin pillows and duvets. "
