"All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed.
Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there.
It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. I would not like to be arriving at night and having to find the entrance!

"Room and ensuite was clean, bed was comfortable and heating good. Parking outside our room was very tight. The track leading up to the property did not have a proper sign pointing to turn in. Just a hand written one leaning against a post which we missed in the dark. When we drove up to the main building there was no sign pointing where to go in for reception. We stayed two nights but when we had our breakfast we had nothing to wash our plates with , no cloth, brush, tea towel etc and had to do...

" Location was the only Plus !!
We booked at this estate because it was offering Morning breakfast. It also showed a restaurant which offered Lunch and Dinner!!
It was a total disappointment! When we contacted for the breakfast, the guy told us he will keep it outside our door. We expected breakfast that was already made but what we got was the ingredients to make breakfast! On top of that, he sent us raw bacon and we don't eat Bacon or Beef!! Next day, he sent us a box of eggs.

"We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was amazing. Incredibly clean and so very comfortable for 4 adults. Easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants and parks.

"Totally immaculate! Beautifully presented with lovely white sheets, pillow slips and towelling. Not a mark anywhere.
Gorgeous gardens, plenty of convenient parking spaces.
The property is listed as a " motel" but that doesn't do justice to it. Built around an historic home, it's way more than that. We will stay here again."
