"The property was lovely, the cleaner could be a little more thorough but it was nice, however the location being central is somewhat noisy, if it’s not boy racers it’s tractors if it’s not tractors it’s the local homeless directly across the street who sit in the rest area drinking shouting and defecating in full view! "This place is really well equipped and clean, it has everything you need and more. Claire was very kind and welcoming. We loved how it’s dog friendly, you can use their beautiful garden to relax and let out your dog. It’s also very close to a nature reserve with a lake and a pretty walk through woods and meadows. Only a 10 minute walk to the local co-op and 15/20 mins walk to the beach. They also have parking for 2 cars if needed. Would happily stay again. Thank you Claire "

"Clean well presented accommodation, check was easy and well communicated, parking was easy to find with the addition of photos to help. Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. Maybe a parasol would be nice to go with the table and chairs outside, even more so in this current heat wave. "The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

"My mum and I visited The Old School House to celebrate mums birthday. A 2 night girls trip stay with my dog.The property was lovely and clean, hot tub nice and hot….a little too chemically for my skin, but that can happen so it wasn’t a concern.I reported that the heating was on in one of the rooms and far too hot and the team came back to me promptly to rectify. Lovely beds.All in all a lovely few days. "
