The cabin has 3 bedrooms and a futon with 2 full bathrooms. Open kitchen and dining Room with all new stainless appliances, will give you the comfort of home. Do not let pictures of house confuse you.This ranch house is 80ft long,,,and hard to take a good picture. We have very spacious bedrooms,, huge eat in kitchen.This property is extremely private,CLOSE TO SHAWNEE SKI AND TUBING AREA,,AND CAMEL BACK,, , but close enough to other activities and shopping. The Bushkill stream is a stocked trout stream which is great fishing from April till July. You can also enjoy tubing down the stream with our tubes.You have your own fire-pit area right at the stream,by the most beautiful spot on The Big Bushkill Stream. We provide your firewood, propane, WI-Fi, bed linens. and PAPER PRODUCTS..When you are ready to CHILL,and unwind,this is definitely the PLACE!!! 10 reasons to book HERE:1. Lovely spot in the Poconos.

Wonderful stay. The river/creek proximity to the firepit area is hard to beat and our family enjoyed the peacefulness of the cabin and surrounding community. Harris was excellent with plenty of suggestions on getting the most from our time there!

If you're looking to get away to unwind and recharge in the mountains, this is your place! I'd be remiss had I not mentioned that steps away is a river to go fishing, swimming, tubing, or to just enjoy a great fire with friends and family. The house is more than spatious, which includes an enclosed screen porch, allowing you to enjoy nature's music. Peaceful quiet relaxation. The stream in front of the property was great. We spent a lot of time decompressing from everyday life. House is as described and is much bigger than the pictures. Added touches of the extras was very nice (coffee, tubes, rods, paper items etc). We enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Great location!

This house was a perfect fit our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 8-9) - there was plenty of space, and the location was amazing (fire pit right on the creek across the small road from the cabin). The kids had a blast swimming and tubing in the creek and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Harris even gave us suggestions on local places to hike!

Relax and recharge

Great place to escape from the real world, but close enough to attractions and restaurants, if needed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't all that cooperative, and we didn't get as much streamside relaxation that we would have liked. However, the cabin has heat and AC, and we needed both! Or you could sit on the covered/screened-in porch when the rain is falling. We had everything we needed. Please note that there wasn’t a Mr. Coffee as pictured in the listing. There is a Keurig and a percolator (which my husband knew how to use!). We had a visitor for breakfast one morning. He made quite the mess but was exciting to see! We also saw many deer, two other bears along our travels and also a turkey. This was our second trip to the Poconos and if we return to the area, we’ll definitely contact Harris!

Highly Recommend

Had a great stay, wish I could have stayed longer! The fire pit by the creek was the most beautiful view. We were fortunate enough to see a bald eagle fly right over the creek. The host was very nice, responsive and accommodating. I will definitely be back at some point.

Peace in the Poconos!

We visited Streamside for a quiet Memorial Say weekend. Everything was as advertised. The setting is beautiful, and the property was clean and spacious. We grilled one night and enjoyed the sounds of the creek we will be back!

Stream lake cabin was surreal.

I needed a quick get away from the city, and this retreat satisfied all the much needed relaxation. I was able to chill out with my one year old puppy and my hubbie had the pleasure of catching many trout in the stream a few feet away. All kitchen appliances were handy, it was great. Many friendly people around including our hosts.

Nice, Roomy House in the Poconos

For a larger group in the Poconos (we had 3 adults and one child), this place can’t be beat. At least 5 people could have their own bed including one in the family room on a Futon. Fire pit was excellent, grills worked great, and the owner provides firewood. Would advise bringing bottled water.

Weekend next to the river

Overall was a great stay, the fire pit next to the river was outstanding. Walks along the quiet river road also outstanding. the cabin size is adequate and comfortable. Harris is great to work with super easy check-in and checkout.

Relax rewind renew

Once again we had a lovely stay at the cabin. This is our 4th stay and will keep coming back because once you find such a place it’s hard to go elsewhere while visiting the area.

Excellent and Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I spent our second Labor Day weekend at the Streamside Cabin. We discovered it last year and loved it so much that we returned this year. Harris is a wonderful host. He greeted us when we arrived to make sure we got settled in. He was available during our stay in case we needed anything. The cabin is lovely: very cozy, clean and has everything you could need. It is particularly good for families since there are a few bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved the outdoor screened in porch. Outside there are two gas grills and one charcoal grill. Harris also has provided fishing gear and tubes for use on the stream. Our favorite part of the property is the stream. Sitting there listening to the water is very peaceful. Also near the stream is a firepit. We enjoyed making a fire and sitting by it at night. All in all, this is a great place if you want to get away from the stress of the city and get back to nature. Very nice getaway

We planned a last minute getaway for our family and this home was more than ideal for what we needed. The kids enjoyed the home but their favorite was playing in the nearby stream. The owner was very accommodating and responsive if and when we had questions. The home is stocked with everything we needed for our stay and the kitchen is stocked with all the tools necessary for us to prepare meals. The proximity to shopping and activities made this home that much better. Thank you and we can’t wait to stay again…hopefully longer next time.

Could not love this place more!

We fell in love with this place. Spent one full day sitting in the river and swimming. The views of the river in the pictures that look like they came from a brochure? Nope, they are actual views of what you see in the river and even they don’t do it justice. We spent a rainy evening on the screened porch just enjoying the sounds. Host is super nice and anticipated things we needed like the floats and setting up fire pit. We cannot wait to go back!

Relaxing Long Weekend

We came for a long weekend and could not of been happier with the cabin. It’s the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. We enjoyed fishing and tubing in the stream. It’s also close enough to town to shop and stroll Main Street.

Great stay

Great stay in the woods. There were six of us and an infant. We all enjoyed our time here. The rooms are spacious with comfortable furniture. The location is perfect. The stream was good for fishing (deep holes, even when the stream was low) and the kids loved tubing. We saw deer everywhere and a bald eagle flew down over the river every morning. The owner was very nice and responsive. I usually don’t rate 5 stars but for a cabin in the woods, this is one of the best.

Quick getaway

Exactly what we needed

This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. Fully stocked secluded house on a stream. Between spending time on the stream, fishing, fire pit and playing corn hole you have a lot to do. The owner is very pleasant and will help with anything you need. Can't wait to go back next year!

Our recent trip along that beautiful stream was amazing! The cozy, well-maintained chalet had all the necessary amenities, and the rustic decor added to its charm. Great time streamside

The Streamside Cabin has all the essentials, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location, right along the Big Bushkill, is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It’s an ideal trout stream, so maybe we will have to bring a rod or two the next time we come up.The property owner is beyond helpful. We had some issues that would have impacted our stay. Lovely, relaxing spot

This cabin on the water was everything advertised. It was relaxing and the stream that runs by the property provides hours of run and relaxation. The owner is incredibly responsive and let us check in early when the house was ready. Lovely spot!

Great spot on the creek!

We had a great time at this nice cabin/home with incredible access to the creek. Fun fishing, and a perfect spot to sit by a nice fire in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful spot for a nice weekend getaway!
