100% whole Chestnut Log Cabin available to rent for a short getaway or long relaxing vacation. Peaceful & private with breathtaking views of the trout stocked creek from every window located on a private road.

The massive great room boasts gorgeous log detail and soaring height with gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, high speed WIFI, and over-sized leather sectional that provides seating for all! The upstairs loft overlooks the great room and offers an additional space to lay back and relax!

The cabin includes a dining room that seats six and a country kitchen, both rooms overlooking the rushing creek and equipped with full-size appliances, including a gas stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher.

Enjoy the 40’ concrete patio to the side of the home overlooking the ½ acre lawn and creek! Perfect for entertaining with a wood-burning outdoor fireplace, table seating, propane gas grill, outdoor sectional and new gas fireplace!

This cabin will make you feel like you have disconnected but is conveniently close to all amenities, major roadways, and shopping. The cabin is steps away from the Bushkill Creek where you can swim, tube (some tubes are available for house guests), fish in the trout-stocked creek, or take a stroll and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Included in your booking are fresh bed linens, dishes, cookware, and one tank of propane gas (seasonally). Guests must provide their own bottled drinking water - the home is equipped with a well water system. Please be sure to read the rental information and agreement for a full listing of details.

Enjoyable

Stocked with everything we needed. Outside could use some cleanup, however, it’s been raining forever. I think the pictures made it look like the creek was right there by the patio but it is across the dirt road down a bank. Not far at all to walk to the spot that is in pictures. I did have to fold sheets that were in the dryer and take a load out of the washer and dry & fold also as soon as i got there, the washer and dryer were still running when we arrived. Overall though we had a great time!!! They had everything needed.

Excellent retreat!

The house is well cared for and clean, and so quiet/ relaxing! We loved the near by creek, and we were so close to Bushkill Falls and other hikes. Vanessa was very accommodating as well and we appreciated all her help!

Awesome view

Our stay was wonderful! The home was extremely comfortable and had everything you needed. The only downside was we couldn’t open any of the three bedroom window for fresh air. The living room had gorgeous windows but no screens. The only rooms with a screen on the first floor was the bathroom and kitchen . That is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars! Spectacular house for the winter months I’m sure

A wonderful family getaway

Our family of five, including our dog, had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this charming, clean cabin in East Stroudsburg, PA. The cabin was exactly what we needed: well-equipped for daily cooking and the perfect getaway to unplug and spend quality time together. We made ample use of the cozy nooks and crannies, including the family couch in front of the gas fireplace. The constant sound of the creek across the road created a peaceful environment, and we enjoyed exploring the area, which has a convenient location just 15 minutes from a main highway and various stores. The property manager was attentive and super responsive, and checking in and out was a breeze. We have already shared pictures and positive reviews with friends who are interested in visiting with their families and will definitely consider returning in different seasons, as the cabin exceeded our expectations.

Perfect place to disconnect and relax

Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous setting. The sound of the creek flowing was so calming. We needed a relaxing weekend away and this place was perfect. Comfy couches, patio with an outdoor fireplace, fireplace in the living room, and creek view on a quiet street. Vanessa was responsive and so easy to communicate with.I will definitely be recommending this cabin to my friends and family.

The place was nice, but the showers water smelt like boiled eggs. My family never felt truly clean after showering there. My security deposit was not returned, despite my family being careful with everything there and not causing damage to the property.

Just as charming as advertised.

It was a delight to be there. Wish we could have stayed longer! Only caution I have for future guests is that it is not ideal for someone with mobility issues. There are many uneven surfaces.

Charming and cozy

Had a delightful visit at the cabin during the height of fall foliage - the colors were spectacular and getting to view the falling leaves while sitting at the rushing creek was heaven. Appreciated all of the amenities at the cabin including the fireplace and well stocked kitchen. The location is remote and very quiet. Got to see deer, chipmunks, squirrels, hawks, and birds all in the front yard. A wonderful visit!

Creek side Cabin

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing time at the cabin. It was very clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. The property and creek are beautiful! One glitch we had was that on our first night there was a power outage from early evening until noon the next day. So we had all the inconveniences associated with that. Vanessa was in touch with us and let us know when the power would be restored. Everything else was great! We’d love to come back again!

Beautiful Anniversary Getaway

I booked this as a getaway for our 14 year anniversary. It was a beautiful location, and the directions provided were spot on, so we found it very easily. We had a minor hiccup when we realized that first evening that there was no hot water, but when we reported it the next day, someone came within a reasonable amount of time and was a simple fix where someone prior to our arrival had turned off the switch in the kitchen. It was a plus that we were able to bring our dog with us and he and I enjoyed time at the nearby creek fishing! I was disappointed that all 3 propane tanks for the grill were empty, so no steaks from the grill for our anniversary dinner, but the stove worked fine enough. The water is not potable, but we were prepared as this was noted in the description and reviews. We would definitely stay here again. It has a very rustic, old cabin charm with enough upgrades to keep it comfortable.

Pocono weekend

Our adult kids just loved the cabin, so charming, beautiful location right on Bushkill creek. Nice patio area for grilling. Very quiet. The boys were able to golf close by. Also loads of hiking areas in the Delaware gap area within 30 minutes.
