"This was a fun break from a week of camping, and a welcome change from a hotel. Despite the unintentionally hilarious 'how to' videos for the domes, which you should watch or you won't know how to turn on the shower, the decor was tasteful, and the dome was very comfortable. Had added treat of a clear sky and could lay back and look at the stars. (Be clear that is isn't a place for kids or pets though.) Also, plan at least two nights so you can enjoy the grounds as well. "

"1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . "

"Property was amazing, exactly as described! Host was super responsive and so helpful with any questions/concerns we had during our stay! Cabin was equipped perfectly for 2 people, and was very cozy and welcoming! If you're looking for an offgrid experience i would definitely recommend, I am 100% looking forward to booking again! "

"It was a quiet area close to Halifax. We had an easy time navigating to where we wanted to get every day. The shower was slippery and could use a mat or non slip grips. "

"We were a family of 12 and the property was fantastic. The common areas let the conversation flow and board games to be played. Visiting Halifax was great and we were close enough to come back and go out again. Carla was a great host. Very responsive and helpful"

"Riley was an excellent host and communication was great. Check in was seamless. The suite was perfectly located in a very central area in a peaceful residential area. The suite was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Bonus was the washer and dryer!Definitely would stay again "

"We arrived close to 11:30pm and the host was up and ready to assist with anything. The extra mattress was perfect so each of our kids had their own spaces. Parking was great too.I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It was a great start to put Maritimes trip."

"Perfect location for our stay. 25 minutes to airport and 25 from downtown Halifax, 8 min walk to fisherman’s wharf where we met our guide with Blue Shark charter, 15 minutes to Rainbow Park beach. It was great being able to relax in the calm of the harbour, watching the sunset after a long touring day. Our host met me on arrival, with an umbrella for the torrential rain, and gave me a tour of the home as well as where the essentials were and the extras down at the beach house. Our host also...

"Amazing location and setting for a quiet time on the Eastern Shore area (as show in listing photos). The main attraction for us was the private peninsula setting and classic cottage design with great views. Location is best for enjoying the cottage rather than taking sightseeing outings or dining (we did both but the drive times are longer). Would recommend to friends!"

"We booked this property to attend a family wedding at another nearby rental property. The location was perfect and we had plenty of room for our group. The front bedroom wasn’t ideal with such a big group and having people waking and going to sleep at various times and the bunk area is very tight but everything else was amazing. We made great use of the sauna and hot tub as well. Thanks so much for the use of your wonderful space."
