  • The Eli Zabar folks (of upper E side bagel fame in NYC) bought this place a while back, and turned it into a legitimate, high-end, specialty food market. Coffee station as you enter, then pass all the insane baked goods (bagels, french style pastries, coffee cakes, muffins of all kinds), then produce (sourced locally), meats, cheeses; just a great (but not inexpensive) spot to shop for breakfast, lunch. Be careful not to get carried away, as I did; bit of a Disneyland for foodies!

Julie’s house was such a dream. Everything was set up for us and the house was comfortable for a cozy bachelorette. House had everything we needed and everything was clean and tidy,Julie was very accommodating to give me time to come early to set up and she was very communicative and responsive. Woudl definitely stay again hoping to bring my kids next time!

The house is cute and in a wonderful location. We stayed for 2 weeks in June/July 2025. The pool is nice and refreshing in those hot months. That being said- there is one TINY window unit on the far right of the downstairs located in the master BATHROOM. That a/c unit can NOT keep up with hot days to cool the downstairs. (meaning if you want any shot of cooling the kitchen and living room you must keep the master bedroom door open and utilize more than the 2 fans offered. Luckily we sent some of our personal fans from home.) There were also LOTS of ants in the master bathroom and ALL over the kitchen. Make sure to clean the counters even when there isn't food on them. Owner supplied ant traps. The smoke alarms goes off EVERYTIME you try to cook. (Even with windows open, fans strategically placed to waft heat out-it happened to everyone who tried to cook-for 2 weeks). We had a scheduled furnace cleaning while we were there and were not told about it UNTIL the day of. The house smell was intolerable. It rained a lot while there and made it difficult to just hang outside while the smell lifted. The owner stops by every or every other day to garden and occasionally spray deer pee without warning or notice. You will be visited often and is fine if you are ok without the privacy expected. The washer and dryer were very nice to have. Having groceries and basic needs (soap, paper towels, etc) can be delivered promptly through ubereats/instacart. Beautiful location and pet friendly.

Nice Vacation

Nice rental house. Proximity to town and backyard setup are the strong points. Poop area is very nice. Downstairs area feels a bit “lived in” and the A/C basically does not cover the first floor. Otherwise it was a good house, would likely return. Owner is very friendly and easy to work with.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this great house! The spacious layout provided plenty of room to relax, and the beautiful landscaping made the entire property feel like a private oasis. One of the true highlights was the gorgeous pool — the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine.The location couldn’t be better — nestled in a prime area close to everything, yet still peaceful and private. We truly appreciated the combination of comfort, convenience, and beauty.Would love to stay here again — highly recommended!

Birthday weekend

My daughter and her friends stayed at the house of over the weekend mid-September. Fabulous location. The host was accommodating and responsive. The house was great and the outdoors was fabulous. Highly recommend this property.

Great house with excellent location

The house was great, loved the location and it was well-maintained and well-appointed. My group had a great stay. Just a couple things to keep in mind as you are booking: the TV in the living room is quite small; the A/C doesn't really work downstairs, just upstairs.

Beautiful home, wonderful time

This house exceeded my expectations. I was in the Hamptons with 5 girlfriends for a long weekend and this was the perfect place to enjoy some great R&R while also being very close to amazing restaurants, shopping and more. The house was very clean and welcoming and the outdoor space was absolutely gorgeous. The landscaping in the backyard and by the pool was stunning and we enjoyed a nice pool day while we were there. The house was about a 10 minute drive into East Hampton Village, a 5 minute drive to Amagansett and a 20 minute drive to Montauk. Julie was very responsive and a great host. I would definitely come back here if I got the chance.

Great trip!

The house worked perfectly for our group of kids, adults, and grandparents! Great layout and love the style and decor of the home. Everything was very clean and we had enough space to spread out and also be together. Great distance to town and also convenient for the wedding we attended. Enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Lovely stay in amazing location

We had an amazing stay at this East Hampton house. The location is amazing, a quick drive to everything in East Hampton/Amagansett and not too far from Montauk either. The pool / yard area is gorgeous with beautiful flowers and a well kept yard. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Nice Family Getaway

The house is well maintained and centrally located to coffee shops, restaurants, and cafes. The owner is very responsive and was very helpful with all of our requests throughout our visit. Would recommend this property for a family.
