#Nature They call this the Curtain Fig Tree. Originally there were two trees here until a seed became lodged on a branch at the top (tree on the left). Over time this seed developed roots that went all the way down to the ground along the side of the tree and now having soil it developed more roots which wrapped around the original tree (host tree on the left currently at 45 degrees). This tree eventually fell over to it's right and landed into another tree creating the 45 degree angle you can now see. Over time vertical roots grew down to the soil. This is what caused the 'Curtain' effect. Currently only stands one tree (pictured). The two other trees have rotted away leaving this curtain fig tree in it's formation.
