"I loved the look of the building inside and outside. Their breakfast was very good but I think it was a little pricey at $18 a person. I was able to find breakfast for a little less at the surrounding cafes. The self check in was easy. I have read complaints about the rooms and service but they always responded to me quickly through WhatsApp. I did have some issues with my original room. One of the curtains was torn, the cold box was not working and there was a fairly large tear in the carpet...

"Bigger room than expected. Location is great. Right in the city. Check in was only til 7pm so we had to call to get instructions to get in but they answered right away and it was easy going"

"Wonderful location and walking distance to the House of the Black Heads and other major attractions in the Riga old town. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the room is old town style but clean and cozy. There is a variety of food options available in breakfast. Overall the stay is great and I enjoyed it entirely. "

"They have thought of everything. Excellent facilities and immaculately clean. Pretty quiet for the 2 nights I was there. They give plenty of advance warning about the steep stairs and they are very steep. Easy access to bus and train station and on the door step of the old town. Would stay again. "

"Staff were very helpful and professional. We had a room overlooking the courtyard it was quiet, it had everything you need and would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel (including effective air con). The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I really liked the bronze and red velvet touches in the room. Housekeeping was excellent. "My room was old style chic , equipped with AC and even a fan! Pillows and mattress were comfy. Staff was extremely kind and the included breakfast excellent. The pancakes or crepes were superb . It is a cosy boutique hotel in the historical centre close to Riga Landmarks I recommend it"

"Wow, what a hostel - clean, friendly, stylish and so much on offer. Free tea, coffee, water and fresh fruit daily. Great kitchen and common room to relax or cook in and the facilities were great. Communication from the staff was great. It was less than 10 minutes to the coach and train station and 5 minutes to the edge of the old town. Would definitely stay here again "
