Everything was excellent! Easy check-in and welcoming host. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Duxbury is a cute and safe area, close enough to see nearby family and trips into Boston.

Perfect location!

The best location in Duxbury. The property is clean, easy to get to and the property manager is super nice! We had no issues and would absolutely love to stay here again!

Well worth every aspect.

Our host met us upon our arrival. We got there about an hour later than we expected, but still before dinner. Rick was there and explained every bit of the apartment and it was actually better than described. We were in the area to meet up with friends, and didn’t plan on doing any cooking at the apartment, and that was a shame. The appliances were brand new, including the 6 burner gas stove. We did use the coffee pot and the refrigerator, but ate out every meal. Rick has supplied a great binder with listings of places to go and restaurants, all laminated and pretty much current on prices. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and bright. We were very fortunate with the weather and the views of the bay, over the marina were to die for.Rick is a fantastic host, and the only issue we had were the stairs. My sisters and I are all suffering with knee problems, and had we some and gone numerous times a day, would have had a debilitating influence on our bodies. We went into this apartment knowing it was on the second floor, and knowing we were not in our 40’s anymore. Once we left in the morning, we didn’t return until evening, so it wasn’t a big issue.The big-screen television was great, and offered google tv. It was also able to use my online entertainment services, so evenings relaxing by the tv were just like being home.I honestly think this apartment is a place we will visit again.

Well appointed comfortable 2 BR apt in the heart of old Duxbury

We came just for 2 days in December to visit friends, and loved the clean spaces, long wall of windows, great accessibility to French Memories and Powder Point. Everything worked like brand new and the beds were comfortable in large bedrooms with roomy closets. Landlord could not have been nicer and more attentive, checking on our heat and offering his number in case of any trouble. And his daughter runs the salon downstairs for extra backup.

So convenient!

We needed a couple of extra beds for a local family get-together and this space was perfect. Centrally located and very convenient, this apartment had lots of natural sunlight, a beautifully updated kitchen, and was clean and very comfortable - just what we needed

Perfect location, charming town

This was one of our favorite places to stay on vrbo. The owner was there and personally showed us the property. A nice open and well appointed apt above a hair salon. The view from the multiple windows was lovely in back. There is a glimpse of the water. The beds were comfy, nice sitting area. A bakery is a couple doors down, I recommend the cream cheese pastries

Wonderful Property - great host

Stayed in Duxbury to visit some family Historical areas. The property was within walking distance of a couple great restaurants and a museum. The property matched the pictures, bright, comfortable and spotless. Richard, the Host was great. If we get the chance, we will stay again

Great location, excellent care!

What can I say? This property is above a hair salon, where I had my hair done before the family wedding I was in town to attend. And it is adjacent to an excellent pastry shop. Rick was very helpful going above and beyond to accommodate my family’s specific needs and even showed up for a small repair during our stay. He is clear and fair about arrangements and the apartment is as you see in the photos. My only suggestion would be to add some night tables in the bedroom.

Over the moon

Awesome!

First of all it is so clean and new. The view is wonderful. The windows make it so special. Very well equipped even with an umbrella, new appliances the bed was very comfortable, nice sofa to relax on after a long day. Great tv and free streaming. I felt so comfortable! When I read the word cozy I expected small. It is anything but small. A lovely neighborhood and coffee / pastry shop very close. We loved staying there. It is more like home than a rental. We highly recommend it.
